Great opportunity to add yesterday at 111p and nice recovery today and regional banking stocks in America seem to have reclimbed.

Markets seem to be dusting themselves down but as importantly here the lowering volumes are showing that less and less are selling and seem to be holding for any number of reasons

Only 14 sleeps Mr Moulding. Will be there on the 28th for several of each for a Pizza night this end with family. Fortunately got a double oven. Especially looking forward to tasting the Chicken curry pizza.

Tuil and Sparta Capital? Plutus already posted details of the previous letter to Wood Group then about 3 months later J Wood group received a bid. its hard to argue against the fact that the involvement of Activist funds does the work in flagging it for Private Equity.

Should be able to put some true worth valuations in THG in April when they publish nnumbers broken down for Beauty, Nutrition, Ingenuity..

THG should never be this low and 170p the lowest of the last rejected bids.

Interesting what Goldman Sachs say on any potential next rate rise in the US in the next article down. I'd say its probably nailed on imo that neither the Fed or BoE will raise rates for a good few months.

First of many I suspect given the Activist Investors circling. Not bothered if its Sparta Capital Management or Paliser next to show their hand.

Very nice development if we do have a number 2 Active Investor looking to take a stake and drive change and the suggestion is that Sparta Capital Management or Palliser Capital are looking to build a large stake.

Kelso onboard has been fantastic already for the amount and constancy of information we are seeing now which wasn't there previously for 12 to 18 months. 2nd Active Investor can therefore adopt another tack to bring forth true value.

Where Active Investors get involved and further are rumoured then Private Equity won't be far behind. When the THG numbers get reported in seperate division formats then I'll bet there will be a few instantly eyeing up Nutrition and Beauty.

You might be right MWelsh for we certainly ain't losing any momentum on widening the venues and countries where we are selling our products.

That's us into Edeka, RWE supermarkets, Pure Gym Middle East and Valli Forecourts and all in just a matter of days.

Better still, it is all being communicated and put out in the public domain. The information we are being given in the last few weeks could fill about 2 full posts here. Compare that with virtually nothing for 12 to 18 months other than regulatory RNS's.

Something is bubbling here be it either on the Nutrition or Ingenuity front.

Thoughts of a O.5bps rise are now being priced out / decreasing so should be good for markets.

Lift in unemployment rate from 3.4% to 3.6% which undermines the headline figure. Decline in average hourly earnings also. Manufacturing jobs down and people with higher paying jobs believed to have been struck from the payroll . Fed swaps downgrade odds of 50 bps to less than 50bps. That seems to be the initial interpretation on Bloomberg and markets so far seem to be viewing it positively.
