No nasty surprises, increase in divi is welcome, quite right the buyback looks quite hefty given the mcap. The biggest relief for me is the increase in rev. hopefully when fp is bedded in can add to, and hitting the revised target. Hopefully a price correction is forthcoming!! GLA

Well the last update in January said they were on track to meet the revised figures, so hopefully they make good on their stated aims of offering a progressive divi......gla

Seems too good an opportunity to miss for me too! Marshall Wace now under the threshold which is good to see, I noticed a 100,000 buy go through earlier along with some other chunky ones so buyers still very active, not expecting an increase of note until the new year a probably results day....GLA

Liberum cut from 160 to 80p! Ridiculous, and shows how incredulous some of these Brokers are with their valuations. I was following RMG a few years back and Liberum had them rated at 120p or something, and they were about 500p a month or so later, clueless.

While their has been a lot of criticism of the leadership, and perhaps rightly so in how their strategy has stunted the SP, in terms of the business as a whole these new sources of revenue do offer some protection in mitigating the decline of the High Street. Anecdotally, as a postman for 18 years this has been my busiest Xmas in term of parcels by far, so I find it hard to believe cost of living is having an effect this Xmas. Yesterday's announcement was very frustrating but ultimately the business is solid and in no financial trouble at all, and it does present averaging down opportunities and of course a regular stream of dividends going forward....GLA

On a positive note the mention of progressive dividend is comforting, hopefully the strategic purchases of the last few years is complete and that will offset any drop on the store sales, and they can now focus on returning profits to shareholders to boost the SP. Also, there are 2 more weekends before Xmas and the weather has not been kind on the last few, so hopefully there will be a late surge.....ever the optimist

Yeah it's a bit of an enigma this one! I'm guessing it may be related to the UKs economic contraction in May but who knows, business seems to be brisk in the shops I've seen recently Rushden, Northampton and Caernavon. It was around this time last year that the price began its rise to 140 so hopefully that can be replicated! GLA

I thought it was 4.8p, with 1.2 already paid and 3.6 due on the 27/6 with ex-div date 30/6.....
