Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Agreed Fun.
We’ve been in the 100-105p range since 23rd March. This share is definitely not trading on fundamentals, so it’s a waiting game but a good sign. Big boys are buying in because they are sure there’s profit to be made.
Fun,
I don’t think any of us would claim to be experts. What great about this board is that we’re all learning and trying to help each other. It’s David vs Goliath as far as Private Investors are concerned and when you’re feeling unsure 50 heads are better than one.
Number, It seems counter-intuitive but if you are a big buyer and you ring your broker who just happens to work for one of the big Investment banks and you say ‘I’d like X million Cine shares but I’m not prepared to pay more than £1’ .... guess what?
‘I’m sure we can arrange that Sir, for a fee’
Be patient, let them fill their orders and then we will fly.
Right. For the first time in a long time I can think of no negative news on the horizon for Cine.
The fact that the city boys are playing with us shows a high level of interest in this stock. Hang on to what you got and you will be rewarded.
GLA
I’m sure they will try before the day is out.
Stonehenge, I think you might be reading too much into this. It’s a manufactured drop to exploit a little bit of uncertainty in the minds of some impatient short-term holders.
This sp is only going one way IMHO.
Yep. One more shake of the share tree. Hold tight.
Thanks for that Hexam - all this talk of Clangers, I think I’ll have soup for lunch :-)
You’re on your own Robin. Lightbearer told us all to sell so we have.
5p soon MARK MY WORDS!!! You Klanger.
Light bearer. Sooo angry. STOP SHOUTING!!
You need counselling.
Thanks for your wise words (twice).
A quick look through your posting history and it’s clear you have nothing to offer.
We’re all grown ups, we know the risks and the rewards. We don’t need your help.
Bye.
Aberdeen boys, I’m on the South Coast of England. Google maps is telling me it’s 569 miles to the granite city. Good evening to you all.
CORRECTION. 300p was mid-2019
Xenor, hard to time this but I agree on the potential. 200p is only 2/3 of the sp end of 2019. I’m looking for the same kind of return. I don’t know when but I will wait patiently.
Fun, only a Scotsman would come up with a brilliant idea like that. Maybe we should offer to buy out anyone who is worried about the share price?
MMs didn’t get the drop they wanted today so ... they WILL try again tomorrow. It’s their last chance before the creditors meeting on Monday morning.
Expect a manufactured drop in the morning and a rise to or beyond the opening price by the end of the day.
This is not advice, just my take on what the posh boys will try to do to the Cine SP tomorrow.
Just HOLD and GLA.
Is it really that sensitive? I don’t know. This share doesn’t seem to move on fundamentals. No one can predict what will happen in the next 12 months, which is why I say - just HOLD.
As the Chinese (Jangho) would say ‘May you live in interesting times’.
Stonehenge, your thinking is Neolithic.
This business is a massive cash generator. Phased opening in US markets and opening in U.K. in 6 weeks with a string of blockbusters. £2 coming sooner than you think IMO.
Jangho are playing chess, positioning themselves with a strategic stake and waiting.
Anybody who wants to buy Cineworld would have to talk to them. At the margins they can trade 1% here and there to make a million or two, as discussed last week.
I liked NO FEARs ‘bouncing a ball up a hill’ analogy. Good days, negative days but a nice upward trend. That’ll do me.
I always expected an artificial drop today and tomorrow to scare a few PIs in advance of Mondays meeting with the creditors.
In all honesty it’s the last opportunity MMs have to scoop some shares at around £1.
Assuming Monday isn’t an issue this should move nicely next week.
Just HOLD.
