The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Linkop. Maybe a lot of PIs cashed in this week to transfer money to their ISAs or to buy Deliveroo?
That hasn’t gone too well.....
Still think your investment decisions were good.
Just HOLD.
Yup. It’s that ‘knack’ Crumpets is talking about.
The knack of being able to hold the price at £1.
BoA have declared their stake and I wouldn’t be surprised if others are piling in ‘at the right price’.
Can only be good news.
Just HOLD.
Bonkers, you are going to have to decide on your ‘Idiot Post of the Day’ soon.
Not many contenders today tho ... it’s all been calmness here.
Care to expand on that Apollo with an extra P :-)
Thanks for your response NO FEAR.
It’s as I thought but you say it so well.
A warning to all you newbies investing in Cine recently - the city boys are all over this share and they have huge power to move the price irrespective of good or bad news. So, if you think you can judge this one - you can’t. Buy, hold and exit when it gets to your price. Everything else is bs.
Just sayin’ .... looks very suspicious. I wonder does anyone one here know about this kind of thing?
Hi NO FEAR,
Don’t you find it interesting that the sp closed on 24th at 102.80 but dropped to 95p on 25th. Then BoA announce they’ve upped their stake ????
I live in Whiteley Bonkers. Fab Cineworld IMHO
Not all Regal reopening April 2, looks like low 20s. Most opening a few weeks later.

Agreed. She certainly didn’t help, talking of ‘impending doom’
I thought the vaccine rollout over there (apologies to our US friends) was going well.
It’s not just IC. FT and Times put the boot in when they can.
I see this morning Yahoo Finance are pushing an old Royston Wild (Motley Fool) article advising against investing in Cineworld.
Lazy journalism designed to unsettle a fair market for the benefit of the big boys.
Oh sorry PW, I misread your post. You’re already in.
Welcome PrettyWild. Instead of lurking you should’ve bought. You’ve missed on on a triple since last October mate!
Good luck anyhow to you and all other ‘lurkers’. My instinct would be to BUY NOW (not advice just my view of where this is going).
I’m not sure what effect the end of the financial year on Thursday might be having. Are people selling up to chuck their profits in ISAs? Maybe this could account for some of the sells?¿
All those who put in a £1 stop loss after yesterday’s rise have just had them triggered.
And up she rises.
Cine need a TV advert! I see fast edits of all the upcoming movies with the Pearl and Dean music over. Everyone knows that music and associates it with their best times at cinemas.
No fee Mooky for that idea - just a lifetime pass for me and the better half. Thanksss.
OMG I’m turning in to Funinvestor .... ;-)
I hope you’re right Smart but if you want some reasons .... try these V’s.
Variants - just the sniff of a new covid variant will knock all the recovery stocks.
Vaccines - supply issues or an issue with one of the vaccines.
Volume - low trading volume makes it easier for the city boys to manipulate the share price.
Viewers- I know we can’t wait to get back to the cinema but what if many people are reluctant to return, at least for a while.
Hopefully none of this happens but this share is going to remain volatile I think.
Still a massive HOLD tho.
Remember this share was valued between £2 and £3 before Covid. No reason we can’t get to the bottom of that range in the near future.
My opinion of course. It’s your money.
Looks like they’re all opening... including my local in Whiteley. Can’t wait.
