Spot on, Colenal. Everything you’ve said hits the mark. No one here is “marrying” this share — it’s a small outsider punt, for most - nothing more, and treating it that way is the only sane approach given the lack of substance over the past year. I now have a more realistic holding here - far from where i was this time last year !!! Although I have all but written off ( mentally ) the investment, and will be delighted if my investment was returned. Fortunately it doesn't impact my overall investments in others - so that at least is a bonus.
You’re absolutely right about the difference between negativity and realism. If the old circus rolled back in and pumped this to silly levels again, half the board would be cheering them on while sprinting for the exit. The fact most holders would happily sell on even a modest rise tells you exactly how fragile the confidence really is.
Your take on charts is bang on too. They show history, not destiny. Great for quick trades if you’re nimble, but for small players it’s just another gamble — like backing a horse after six wins and expecting value.
And until an RNS is backed by something meaningful — not pocket‑change revenue or vague promises — this is likely to keep drifting exactly as it has. That’s not being negative, that’s just calling the race as it’s running.
Solid post, well put.
OSD - Still trying to get the lister running smoothly - its like 10 little drummer boys at the moment - not the purring beauty i envisaged !!
