There were some very large trades last week. So where are the TR1's?
Bugzy, you can't have unlisted shares in an ISA. I have no idea how this is going to work. The Pref Shares can't be traded so do we get a physical share certificate? As usual, poor communication from Pathfinder.
So, we got to the announced Record Date and so far no Pref Shares have been issued!! Why? Maybe I am the only one who hasn't received them? Has anybody received their new shares?
Lookingformoney, I'm at a loss to understand how you can say "even at a worst case is a double your money in the new company". How are you managing to place a market cap valuation on PFP when none of use know what the RTO is? Maybe the new valuation will be at or below today's market cap? Hence the share price will go down when the RTO is announced. It's much too early to invest into the new Pathfinder until an informed decision can be made. Anything else is just a roll of the dice and hope for a more valuable asset. PFP has 6 months to enact the RTO. There is no indication it will happen quickly or the value of that incoming asset will be lower or higher than today.
It is in AAG's best interest to conclude matters quickly - especially as they have a $15million war chest and have already spent £1 million to acquire IMM. The 5 year period is a drop dead date when IMM reverts back to PFP ownership if AAG have failed - and spent all that war chest. AAG have had a year to research this. They will be fast out of the blocks on a minimal spend IMHO.
100% agree with your understanding Poppyseed. Today is the last day to buy into the bonus share allocation. If you buy today with usual 2 day settlement, you own the shares on Tuesday which is the Record Date. So it has to be ex-divi on Monday. Makes sense to me.
It is really unclear from recent RNS announcements when the cut off date is to hold PFP shares so you are eligible for an allocation of pref shares. Completion date was IMHO the correct date, but now it might have been changed to what is being referred to as the Record date. Such an important watershed for investors should have been clearly spelled out by the Board rather changing it, moving goal posts than leaving it up to what is now conflicting interpretation. GLA
15 minute warning - I think you only have until close of business today to buy shares in PFP in order to be awarded free Pref shares to get a share-out on the legal recoveries - this could be massive free money.
15 MINUTES
And over the next 10 days, shareholders who have not been stupid to have sold today will start to receive their freebie allocation of Pref Shares in the new SPV to enjoy a very material share out of legal recoveries. Happy days.
Freebuffett, I see no reason why PFP would issue more share to keep the lights on given they receive £1million on Completion for the sale of their subsidiary. As for your question regarding retention of shares after Completion, it is my understanding that shares held on Completion (2 working days after the GM) will benefit from the windfall payment. Following which, the shares will then trade effectively ex-dividend. So IMHO you can sell your shares after Completion and still retain and benefit from the windfall. Maybe PFP needs to clarify that but it make sense to me.
Have I got this right?
GM called for 18th August - Completion 2 working days after. All shareholders holding shares on Completion will receive a distribution of recoveries received by PFP through AAG's legal efforts. A bit like a dividend distribution.
So, if we look at simple mathematics, the windfall payment will look something like this:
$30mil (minimum recovery amount due to PFP) divided by 632,494,834 (share in issue) = $4.74c (£3.7p) per share pay out. That is >9x the current share price in a windfall dividend payment!!!
AND if you factor in a higher recovery for PFP, say $100mil, then the windfall dividend is >30x the current share price.
Name one other stock in the world that has this multiple attached to it. Why on earth are there sellers at 0.37p this morning?
IMHO the SP has fallen too far. A market Cap of sub £2 million does not reflect the risk reward inherent in these shares.
Lookingformoney, copy your email to the Chairman just in case Peter Taylor is on holiday.

I fully agree. Email the CEO, tell him how many shares you hold and ask for his feedback. He can only give you what he has released into the public domain, but may be able to provide some comfort on the veracity of the transaction.

IMHO and in the opinion of all those shareholders that voted at the AGM to remove you - why has it taken you a year to close a simple sale with AAG? It is not rocket science. Is the word PROACTIVE not in your dictionary? Ridiculous farce now descending upon Pathfinder and it is all your doing. Get your finger out man.
AGM on the 22nd June and this Board will expect shareholders to vote them back in office.
WTF utter nonsense are you dribbling about? Give up.
oldblue, you really have not got a clue what you are talking about. i suggest you write to the board yourself rather than ****ging off everybody on this board with your utter nonsense. maye have a read up on what constitutes insider information too. that might help.
Lookingformoney, IMHO the quality of recent RNS releases issued by the current Board are lacking in clarity. I don't know if it is the Nomad directing the Board or just institutional arrogance towards shareholders.
