....and added to my Watch List. Expanding fast but not sure this is clever at this stage of the economic cycle. On the other hand. the SP is near its recent low so worth watching, remembering the old adage 'Buy when everyone is selling'.

I sort of agree with you, Thunder, but in this tishy market I have put on a limit buy at much further down Can't take any upside for granted now.

In this tishy stock market these are looking particularly attractive again. A further purchase for my p/f would have to be lower down but if you don't have any, look at the logic please.

...what to expect and what (if anything!) will it do for the SP?

My hunch is very little. They are not big movers and unless the results are earth-shatteringly good or bad, My guess is not much will change. I have made some cash available in my ISA but only for what I consider unmissable opportunities, so I shall wait and see.

Just by way of example, I did spend some the other day, on topping up my PRM on exciting news.

This terrible bear market, I mean. I now have some cash to invest but I am loathe to try catching a falling sword! And I bet I am not alone!

.....now because by next month these will be coppers unless they steady this boat.

For this news. Hopefully when the market behaves itself rather than a runaway vehicle on a 1 in 7 hill, this will be sought after by the big boys who won't be able to buy large enough parcels to satisfy their avaricious tastes.

Just after I sold to get a chunk of cash in the ISA, so I have been delighted to top up here today to increase this holding to over the 250000 mark. Medium term I expect these to soar and I am already into a nice profit. Just wish I could say the same about the rest of the p/f!

I have the same(or worse) gut record as you, GBCol, and my holding here is a round million.

Not expecting to be a millionaire any time soon but if my hunch is anything like correct -and I live long enough, I am hoping for some nice upward movement, a share consolidation, a possible reverse by our unquoted partner and I suppose I would settle for a mere £100,000!!

As i remember it, the full amount was due for payment by end Dec 2023. If that does not occur and a significant amount still to be paid, KZG should at least give them warning that they have overrun and formally give them notice that they will regard the contract as forfeit in, say a month.

And if we hear nothing before Xmas, then our Chinese buyers have broken their contract and we are then entitled to see who else is interested or spend some cash on running water to our Tant and lithium deposits and mining them ourselves. The way things are in China now, that is looking like a decent odds bet, on top of all the other excitement!

This is still a great proposition but in this rotten market one has to be careful about timing.

I have just reduced my p/f by about 12% to hold in cash for now. I am certainly not a buyer here at over a quid. Will watch and might dip a toe in at what I think is an interesting time and price.

Just sold this and another IT long held, to keep the cash in my Fidelity ISA earning a modest interest. After mulling over this 'tishey' market and the distinct possibility of an election fairly soon and all the aggro in US, Russia and China, I concluded that the argument for holding at least 10% of p/f in cash was just too strong.

Putting the POT into 'potential'!!

So long since I bought but I reckon its only got to rise another 10p or so and I might be in a modest profit!!

But what if Lupuzor gets the nod in a few weeks/months? All us thickos will be laughing all the way to the bank.

....and you will see for yourselves how cheap this stock is now and what scope there is for a nice increase in the already generous dividend. If you do this then, like me,you will hold a decent clutch of them in your p/f and forget about quick turnarounds.

A decent Investment Manager hould only think of using company cash to buy shares in his own company when there is nothing else out there suitable to add to the portfolio!!
