Most holders don't cling on for the cash and new shares. It is not impossible for another pub co to make a better offer but unlikely. However, with Xmas trading while the bid procedure drags on, it might be worth doing nothing at all at this point.

My broad portfolio - including this- has today marched up for the first time in a year or so. Let's hope so!

Came 2nd by a whisker this year to HICL in the infra awards. I am fine with that. Lots ofpotential and thesemanagers know what they are doing. So far held for 15 years and no reason to do otherwise!

These should be in double figures and by next Interims if all continues at same pace, I expect SP at least mid twenties - assuming they re not in for a bid. I just hope Mariola stays with the co and doesn't decide to retire.

...expected in SP if JV is not announced very soon - which I don't expect. So the plan is to keep a bit of cash in reserve and top these up lower down if possible. Never easy to ink in terms for JV. Legal boffins love to haggle and we all know how soon the Xmas/New Year booze up starts! Be surprised if JV finalised before mid-Jan 24 when our SP might be 2.5 to 3p again!

...be rather helpful here. Don't really have lots of gaining shares in the p/f to sell in order to buy more GSK but if this SP continues to drift, might have to do just that. Incidentally, inserting a $B3 loss fund for Zantac payments seems harsh on GSK but then everyone seems to have it in for them these days!

I have just topped up below the £5 mark, which is really cheap still. After the latest RNS I am very confident that the next and subsequent dividends here will be jolly nice and this is a good long term hold in any portfolio.

Glad I took my losses a while ago and only retain modest interest. My attitude now is unless this rotten outfit can guarantee in their own blood exactly how much better off in money terms I will be immediately after their successful bid, then I do not intend to do anything about the few shares I have already written off..

On the other hand, very likely to get full update by end of March 2024. In view of the lack of news to date and the fink SP, holders are likely to be anxious to react to ANY news promptly which is rarely the best reaction although in this case understandable..

Why would any sane investor need or want to DUMP them? They are assured (unless a placing & OO) to rise to around 40p per share in next year. Who can be so idiotic as to prance off anywhere else?

It has caused my nice cheap holding to average up to only small profit overall but the way this is now positioned and the excellent relationship with Sri Lankan government has made me decide it is worth holding 250,000 here..

At this price, I reckon one or two foreign big names will be looking at a take out. Below £13.95 and with our catalogue of potential new drugs, a cheap and cheeky bid is now a real likelihood.
