If the healthcare products co split off is going to be laden up with debt (as we are led to believe) and interest rates will be much higher come 2023, wouldn't it make sense to bring the split forward and get a lower interest deal from the creditors? I wonder if Elliott is pressing for just that.

hayashi - I too am a bit lazy but from memory I think its around £M20. Valuing the IP is for experts but with interest rates only going one way, if they could refinance it early, they would be wise to do it. We have been told in the past by knowledgeable posters that the IP would be worth a fortune across the pond but no bid yet so the choice is cut and run or stick around and hope! No regular RNS expected for months.

...as solid as ever. Cornerstone of long term portfolio with enough index-linking in the underlying contracts to keep abreast of inflation. Cannot see any reason at all not to hold.
