Pleased I got this pretty much right, but the bank drama caught me out on my recent double up in LGEN and AVIV!

These fell a quid from their recent best and I did not sell, but if you have cash, it's a great time to buy with a nice safe yield.

These have bounced nicely but have a nice juicy divi coming up soon. My double up was slightly higher but I can't complain today.

These have just turned positive and are still a huge bargain. I paid more a few days ago for a second tranche. If you are wanting a holding much safer than a bank and paying a juicy dividend, you had better get your LGEN skates on!

...Aviva now moving ahead. Strange!

Conclusion categorical WN will be drilled 'in 2023.' But S&S have their backs against the wall right now.

...to a panicked market, at least not for us tiddlers. The only comfort is that barring the end of the world, it will eventually regain sanity and if you are brave enough to stay invested in quality stocks, you will see them gap upward at some point.
Good dividend payers will put bread on the table ine meantime!

...let's face it LGEN and AVIV are bellweathers. What is going on now is a fear game. None of us tiddlers can affect it. Hopefully the 'I want my cash NOW' cretins will pipe down quickly and our present SPs will gap up to where they should be.

...in this dreadful market my quite large holding here over many years was showing an ever-decreasing profit and much else losses so I sold before the budget and split the proceeds between LGEN and AVIV which I already hold. It was common knowledge the Tory Budget would benefit them and their divi season is soon. Sorry but needs must!

Bought back another 600,000 today at these cheapo prices. Labour will rant about the budget measures that are good for insurance cos but they cannot possibly defeat the Tories on this. Same comment for my doubling of LGEN stake,

...if the currently authorised $600,000 is paid and then they default, it would be unfortunate but not catestrophic. We still have the tant and lithium, however tricky to exploit. Must be at least one other outfit who wants a slice of it. And we have our existing wonderful new interests plus a decent and honest new board.

They won't have to choose that method of financing at that stage. Would be sensible to consider an interest-bearing bond, possibly convertible, since there would be no immediate dilution in shae capital. Let's just hpe we reach that point without a hiccup!
