Just looked at last RNS setting outcore hole programme. It indicated that Spud was expected 'later this month (March) Seemed a bet quick when I first read it but is now two weeks late. Just so long as when we get it, it proves OK!
With proceeds of sale of Haleon. Pundits are giving Haleon the cold shoulder but think GSK is now cheap. Calendar says they are near to release date for quarterly figures so there's some sense to it, Also it seems to show that my holding has moved from a loss to a profit by this purchase ( although that might change tomorrow - Fidelity platform!)
....there's nothing to stop Portillion flogging their holding to someone who wants to bid for RBD (at a profit). I suspect that was the justification for this whole farce. I just hope it's a major who wants WN on the cheap.
Trouble is the effect wears off. I don't know if it has any good effect on Ed, like turning him off 'mates rates'. I fear it is asking too much to expect it to turn him into a first class IT Manager.
It is possible that with serious studies into the beneficial effect of cannabis on folk with some mental issues now under way in Australia and about to start in UK there could in future be a buoyant market. The question is whether Seed will be around long enough to benefit having lost o much of our capital to date. There is also the nagging doubt about whether we are being led by a man who is right for the role of IT Manager. My view is Jury's out on both!

Big upward assessment coming up. Some have waited decades for this to reach its potential. Now it is about to start. I just pray it is given the opportunity and not taken over, at least not for 24 months!

....TG will not want his last foray to be a failure and has convinced the good Doc also. Frustrated but with a successful drill now, SP will rise and that will only be the start.
Setting up testing of CBD in UK as medication which may then be NHS prescription. Can't do us any harm but knowing how long it will all take, please don't hold your breath!
Can't really argue with your assessment, Pers, but there will always be risk capital for a project likw WN. it's just a case of getting it together and making the terms attractive enough. The big problem right now is that our bidder clearly wants all the upside paying a price we all think is miserly. AND in this rotten market we are not exactly spoilt for choice!
If you want a stock paing a safe and generous (around 8% tax free in ISA) dividend, then buy and don''t worry. They won't make you rich but are unlikely to let you down. I have held for ages and will not think of selling until it hits Β£4.
