...after quite a few top-ups my portfolio contains just under 1M of these now at better than cut even and with reasonable prospects. Like you Brad, all I have to do is live long enough for them to get into production.(and no doubt write-off a few others on AIM which won't turn out as good!)

Thanks for that, formerlyeasyp! I have held for a very long time and topped up frequently. I suspected that these figures were both genuine and reasonable in the circumstances. Just hold and hope for a longer life!

Prelim year's results, but do not expect miracles. If they make any profit at all, that will be a surprise and a great achievement. Survival has been the name of this game and it should (no guarantees though) get better from here.

There is no hint there of pessimism. So why has the SP retraced? My view is that a reasonable - but not stupendous - quarter is in this price and anything marginally better should encourage long term improvement in the SP and the expectation of a maiden dividend.

...performance by management here for the SP to be approaching recent high in a less than encouraging financial environment.

...I can see stake-building in preparation for a takeover battle. They still have a fair way to go before I am at the surface let alone making money!

Hi Winnimandala, My understanding is that they are not short of cash now and if they are, there's the Botswana Civil Servants Pension Fund as well as the Flying Aussie Doctor to think of first. The Doc may still have a right, formal or not, to shovel away more at a discount -hope not! The fairest thing to do once the gas readings are out and the SP takes off is to consolidate the capital annd follow it by a placing AND Open Offer, but this is AIM so fairness does not often apply!

Martin Diggle, the guy behind it, is not to be underestimated. He has a c22% stake here. Just makes me more confident.

for a say 6+ bagger is an accurate and decent gas reading from Lesedi 6! Judging by the time it took to get dewatering done on L4 we may have to wait 6 more months or so! I just hope TG did adequate research before he plumped for this location for the present hole. I also hope all us old timers live long enough!
