Listing Office (in England) will normally relist an unheard case with no Defence on not less than one week's notice and it should be heard first as it should be quick. Indian courts should be similar but absolutely no guarantees. Also may not hear cases at all if they have a mid-year break. Longer we hear nothing cheaper the SP. My rule was to let the balance of my holding run for free but I may break the rule if they go down too much. Fundamentals unaltered.

Sundays all gloomy so I sold off quite a few UKs today but not these. Very tightly held and peeps still paying over the top to squeeze a handful onto the market. Definite good feeling about this outfit.

For better or worse, quite a bit gone through with a couple of unit trusts delayed as always. Bit disappointed no RNS yet from TLOU saying the dewatering finished but can't rush it. Waiting on RNS for result of court hearing on PAT. KZG still rising and still cheap. Am thinking of dumping the cash from sales in due course into iShares Ultra-Short Duration U.S$Bond ETF.
Risk should be minimal and ongoing management is 9p per £100! Must check whether it is fine for my ISA though.
My son is meant to be viewing a flat tomorrow (refused first time round). Let's hope he gets up for it, otherwise next week they may forcibly remove him if he refuses to go! Really don't want that, although it is for his good that he has his own flat with support and gets friends nearby. I can't look after him 24hrs a day for ever! Regards, Gerald

Looks like we actually might have escaped from calamity having pulled out of the Green Highland deal. The article doesn't mention it in so many words but that is my conclusion. Anyone else read it and what did they make of it? We need to keep at arm's length from that empire, which may well not be built on solid foundations. I think it might be a case of a pat on the back for our independant directors!

Hope you are not heavily into a portfolio. Serious Sundays are all doom today. I have reviewed mine and was remarkably defensive. Still gave five limit sell orders. Not the gambles - left these alone. Its the safe and borings - particularly UK.

All the serious Sunday papers say the same, so expect a lousy opening tomorrow. Just been through and actually only had to place limit sells on three shares and get out of a couple of funds. I was quite relieved how defensive I was!
Hope we don't see Building Societies in trouble as well as banks, but that would not happen overnight and one of my exits was Lloyds. I will worry about where to slash the cash safely another day. Better saf than sorry.

Just to let you know that weekend FT is exceedingly bearish for UK (whoever wins the Tory PM vote) and not too keen on Europe either, which will suffer if we exit with no-deal.
I am reviewing my 'safe and boring' portfolio and getting rid of much that could bomb over the next 3-5 years on a no-deal brexit, going into cash/ near cash. I will leave my fairly awful 'Alternative' investment trusts which may well come into their own. All my Flutters will stay (most are outside UK and Europe).
Friends did this on the result of the Referendum, which I thought too pessimistic. Not now! I just hope I am not too late.
May not affect you depending on what you have in the market, but if you follow this advice don't blame me if U.K then shoots upward. Regards, Gerald

.....'churlish'. Some beginners clearly do not understand the important difference between 'knowing' you have a resource and having a JORC compliant resource. This is Industry Standard based on the samples taken and measured. It usually firms up when more are taken and measured meaning more certainty and usually a larger definite resource.
There are rules of thumb for putting a figure on adjacent mines yet to have a JORC but that is all it would be. The next two could be as good, much better or worse, but to get a ball park at this stage.... well, guess if you want. Otherwise you will have to stick around until the New Year (or later) for GC to tell you. Closing SP today is very cheap , IMHO. Was expecting 2.5-3p and think it will get there after weekend publicity. But I am sticking around for big profits and so should you!

Cheaper now than when I topped up earlier. Would not be surprised if there is a last minute rush on basis that the JORC will be written up everywhere this weekend. Can buy for 1.84p now!!!!

Market ain't what it used to be for builders! Under the circs, these are holding up well, supported by a decent dividend. If they drop any more, its buying time again.

Couldn't agree more. Latest RNS (a review by the paid reviewer!) still positive and though USA gives me heeby jeebies right now, inclined to hang on and take the divis. The problem with cashing in is where to reinvest and sleep at nights.
