Towards end of FT article it reports that "there is no sense of urgency in the NIH" to create a Challenge facility in the USA. They appear to be content to allow ORPH a clear run.
Last week we were told that the East End facility is fully booked for 18 months and additional capacity is being sought.
Well done everyone at ORPH. Heroes.
Could someone with more understanding than I have suggest why enormous transactions are being revealed only after two trading days?
Two matters arising:
1. Does the size and timing of the transactions suggest that news was leaked or price is being manipulated?
2. Is a delay of 2 trading days permitted? The following deals were listed after close of play tonight and can be found on this site if you look now. Note the 600k shares traded yesterday revealed tonight

I'm being told 1.57%/week for 50% in 6 months
I got that wrong .. could someone with o grade maths sort it please
CF repeatedly says that he thinks 1.34-2.7%/week compound would be reasonable for ORPH .. (that's doubling every year is 1.34%/week or doubling every year is 2.7%/week compound).
Maybe someone here could keep track of progress along these trend lines
Thanks indiscipline. For some reason my aged brain had dismissed reference to sourcing new capacity. My bad. I guess there's no shortage of care homes for sale which could be converted. Good time to buy a care home.
I was over focused on CFs bluster about "we are a services company .. we don't carry the risks of pharma development". I completely missed these joint ventures which look like flu vaccine pharma?
Any other revenue streams?
With all 24 beds fully booked for 18 months what the alternative sources of growth and is there excess capacity in these other areas?
If this is a short term blip in demand it's of little value. Otherwise does ORPH need to expand and where's the capital for expansion? Are we looking at another issue of shares or a takeover? Someone mentioned Chinese interest? Takeover is the normal growth route in pharma.
It would appear that he was up with the lark to offload Grenke ahead of the pack .. or so it would appear ..shifting over 5% of the trust to escape with little or no damage to the NAV. A feat worthy of song and a barrel of the best blood wine.
There appears to be scant information about how or why he ditched Grenke, other than two pieces of evidence:
1. an RNS telling us that all of Grenke had been sold by end of 15 Sept
2. personal share purchases by the manager bringing his personal stake in JEO to 3.4%
The Grenke story will probably develop in whispered confidences shared as copious amounts of blood wine are consumed over the next decade. A very? few people made oodles of money from a short position opened long long ago. I listen quietly in the corner of the pub to hear why a decision was taken to spring the story on that particular day in that particular way, and by whom. The euro fund universe is a small place. The managers could all dance on Quark's bar, and probably do. Half of them praying Live Long & Prosper whilst the other half close their eyes and pray Today is a Good Day to Die.
The above posts were all written shortly before the NAV as at 31 March was published in June. The date of this most recent but now aged valuation happens to coincide with what turned out to be the very bottom of the crisis. Valuations of unquoted companies is highly subjective but the doom mongers may have been taking a lead from characters from Dads Army.
The SUPP price goes up and down and lack of information is frustrating. Stuck around 28p with probably an out of date discount of around 50%. My tea leaves suggest that the bad news is already in the price .. but I've been wrong before .
I tried to buy a small quantity this morning but the was no supply. Zero shares available. Perhaps people are holding on tightly waiting for FDA approval ..
