Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The fight back starts now.
CF's closing remarks were the message which he wanted to convey.
CF is determined to see a good profit
Anything new and significant has to be passed through an RNS. Totally unfair to criticize CF for not dropping new news.
I just bought more and the price looks like it's heading up.
If Bear666 knew everything which was said last night I'd like his news feed. I had no idea that 1 seller is finished and the other has locked in for a year.
Can someone please help me understand CFs comments that a chunk of the 40m went on rent for QM .. together with his later repeated comments that "we don't pay rent for QM". I don't recall him ever telling us that we are charged rent for QM. I think I recall statements in previous webinars, and again tonight, that we do not pay rent.
Perhaps my ear didn't catch something and my memory is faulty?
It seems likely to me that we do pay rent and the 40m included a rental element. In which case the "we don't pay rent, the govt pays that" has been smoke and mirrors.
But I'm often wrong and my rather large (for me) shareholding hope's that people here can correct me.
I haven't been watching for months.
What's gone wrong?
Been in since 7p. Just confused.
I posted this on Friday.
Here it is again

Some appear to be unaware of AIM Rule 17
Which requires all shareholders to disclose by RNS when they breach 3% and each full 1% above 3%.
That means that any large shareholder would have had to inform the stockmarket if they had sold enough to cross a percentage threshold of 3% or more.
So PLEASE no more discussion of fantasy sales.
If Invesco or any other fund had sold we would see it, probably next day.
Is it coincidental that todays gains were lost immediately the Sky News featured Orph?
I missed it. Was it controversial?
Each member of my family has a holding of Orph. We sold Bitcoin and Flutter to top up 2 Orph holdings on Friday. It's now one of our largest holdings and one I'm very comfortable with.
One or two people seem to have forgotten how big ORPH is.

I think any change by a shareholder with more than 3% must be reported promptly by RNS. In practice that is normally next day, occasionally 2 trading days, very rarely more.
An individual could buy and sell 20m shares and not be obliged to report that because it would be under the 3% limit.
All of the above 8 fund managers will be dressing their shop window to look good on December 31.
That's one factor driving the traditional Santa Rally.
Let's keep transactions in proportion.
This is not the droid you're looking for. Nothing to see here. Move along.
I topped up twice today on the strength of CF's sweet talk. The news flow to come is so strong that I reckon Balman has the right idea. Any fund selling out of Orph must have internal reasons. Lots of funds will be window dressing for their year end.
CF listed several great reasons to increase our holdings. So I did and now I'm waiting for a stream of RNSs.
And then they release £250k of buys made on Thursday morning.
FordLane makes a point which others may be missing. FL writes "when ap sells off his stake at a spiked price". Note he expects a spiked price.
We need to refocus on the price. Yesterday I thought that the business is likely to make profits and those profits are likely to get big. Is that still valid? I'm here to make money.
Attacking AP is as helpful as attacking real nasty guys like Bill Gates or Rupert Murdoch. Say what you like they don't care.
Will we make money by holding or should I sell at a loss and set that loss against gains elsewhere?
Very good points Maverick.
TA ir one if his friends may have a use for those tax losses.
When people talk new opportunity arises.
It's that time of year. You're allowed to dream. One day your prince will come. Please not too many panto cracks.
Thanks Joe. Appreciate the input.
My understanding of how Chinese businesses operate in Angola is many decades out of date.
More recently I have found dealing with Chinese people in London fairly straightforward, once I understand what their interests are and align my interests to their interests. I've never managed to change their attitudes or interests and I suspect there are very good reasons why that's not going to happen.
As long as we all want the same thing it's all good.
The CGWIC must want us involved. I hope to find out why.
The suggestion that there are only 2 updates per year is far from practical experience. Gerry is on Twitter almost every day. He cannot give price sensitive news there but if you watch his tweets you learn a bit about what's going on the group. To someone like me that's really interesting from many angles
We are making a positive difference to Societies across the globe by providing cost effective ways to make water safe and to test the efficacy of skin products without using animal or human guinea pigs, monkeys, dogs or cats.
The focus recently has been on a virus but our tech has applications which will make strong progress after recovery.
We were looking for e.coli in water but we can now look for a wide range of bacteria and virus contaminants. Even in the UK you might be surprised at what is done to make your water safe. People swim in and camp beside reservoirs which also collect run off from farm land. Every time there's flooding our water supply is at greater risk. China has just passed a law requiring water to be tested and Deepverge is already there at the ground floor of this new immense market. We are also testing water supplies and recreational water in the USA.
One last point for any readers who are not up to speed. This company is export focused. Our major clients are overseas. Our growth will be overseas. Any income from the UK is cream on growing cakes.
Hi guys. My son bought a wee bit LT on the dip today. I'm now doing the work which he didn't do to understand the business. He's young. Bought with his gut.
I would like to learn how CGWIC has handled similar joint projects in the past. I'd appreciate a steer to their track record.
I have a little experience working in Zim long ago. This project could have legs. It has several aces in the deck if these guys are decent partners.
Just watched Flutters US competitor DraftKings interviewed on US tv. The story is all about growth and new customers contributing +ve net value. Reinforces the story told by Flutter this week.
Sports betting apparently has only just become legal in some states. The medieval nature of some attitudes in the US never ceases to amaze me. That represents opportunity. Significant market growth in sports betting with improving prospects for future profit. The sector is on a rising curve.
I haven't been keeping up. Please let me know if I'm out of date.
#ORM had 5.6m in the bank a month ago.
It has a mkt cap which is less than cash in bank.
The only way is up?
