Well 250K + 135k shares = 385k shares. The "Buy Volume" displayed is a bit more than 100k.

I just hope that "the games" the MMs are playing (to collect shares) will finally end up in a SP rise for the benefit of all shareholders.

master82: Clearly every LTH will targeting a much higher SP. But you're right - we've got to take this one step at a time.
Bottom line is: If PM's management does things right and no (relevant) screw-ups happen along the way, this share will reach highs which no investor has ever dreamed about. The only question is: How long do we have to wait for it to happen?

Hope you're right master82. At this time we're still in the 7's (7.75p to be exact).
I'm hoping that the SP will soon reflect the actual value and potential of PM.

Again: From my modest POV the following 3 items should have a major impact on PM's SP:
1. EL issue
2. Announcement of a JV
3. Generation of revenues from the Heron well.
Item 3 cannot be done without item 1 - but I expect it to be an important catalyst.

My point is: The only information the public/market gets to see is what is available under the PM ticker. Now if that information should be misleading or rather instransparent then I would say that is "not so good". Even the well informed PI's are ultimately subject to what the market does - because the market defines the SP (and not the savvy investors).
If I am on the wrong track pls let me know.

JAdam: I don't know what your "level 2 within sharescope" is about. What counts is what is displayed on the information grid on AIM for Petro Matad. And that is clearly wrong. I've got Level 2 (paid) information as well which doesn't make things better.

but I consider this to be extremely disturbing:

The total trade volume for today (until now) is well over 2.5m shares.
Sells apparently account for about 556k shares.
Buys apparently account for about 1.026m shares.

3 major sells alone account for 454k shares and there are many 50+k sell-trades around. I.e. the sell volume is incorrect.
I'd really like to see the right numbers - am I really the only one?

were acts of desperation. Those sellers could've done a lot better had they just waited a bit longer. So how was that with the "keep your patience" issue? Good for the buyers who know what is coming.
