neither Maverick, nor Pipedragon nor Starbuck nor anyone else is able to name and elaborate on O&G companies listed on AIM which have at least the same or more potential than PM.
Good to know that I have invested wisely.
Good for you investing in PM. I believe your PM investment will ultimately put a big smile on your face. However, only a "muppet" would invest all in AIM companies. That's pretty much like putting all eggs in one basket from my POV. Hope you know what you're doing! Good luck!
Thanks for your post. What everybody who is or wants to be invested in PM needs to understand is what D1nger said more than 2 years ago:
1. Petro Matad is an oil exploration company - right?
2. If so what is a private investor investing in? Potential!
3. So what is PM's potential considering the present operational schedule, i.e. 4 back-to-back drills this year (to be confirmed within the next few days)? Mind boggling!
I can't help making this sound like a sales pitch - but it's the truth!
Just hope everybody who sees what's going on is not left out!
OK Maverick: As a "Joker" let me...7 May 2018 20:12
ask you and anyone else where to look to for an O&G company on AIM with at least as much potential as PM. ECO clearly doesn't make the grade (off-shore, poor license percentage) - as you've had to admit yourself.
Got any other suggestions you can come up with?
We're waiting!
RE: Maverick: At any rate I'm sure.7 May 2018 18:49
That my friend is the voice of the market speaking. As far as I can judge the mkt is waiting for confirmation that the drills will actually take place. Once the market realizes that the pre-requisites for those drills are in place and there is nothing that will hold up the drilling schedule I firmly believe that the overall interest in PM's share should increase substantially.
OK - thx maverick; in that case coupled with a lousy license percentage: definitely not worth looking in to.
Anybody else out there able to come forward with an AIM share with at least as much potential as PM?
As PipeDragon says: "Good Luck"
D1nger - thanks for your post!
At that time my average was still fairly high - but you were one of the only posters who made more than just a lot of sense; so much sense that I couldn't help making some very important investment decisions (particularly during July/August 2016); I can tell you that I have never regretted those decisions since - quite to the contrary!
Good thing you were there and voiced your opinions. Hope to meet you some day in order to express my gratitude.
I hope my post was not misunderstood: 3 years ago the PI's were clinging to faint hopes - there was not really more around. Today, PM is actually on the verge of becoming one of the world's largest oil producers. In other words: There is absolutely no comparison. And still PM's current SP has not even doubled since then. That should give all potential investors something to think about.
Posted on May 5, 2015 (exactly 3 years ago!);Sp close @7.12p.
Subject: The brutal reality is....
"As erictheviking described precisely and as I have mentioned in my earlier contributions: This is a holding operation. If you're in here for a quick win you may want to reconsider your bet (unless you got in at 3p). I have accepted the fact that it may take another 2+++ years before the sp takes off. Having said that I also accept the possibility that MATD may ultimately turn out to be a bummer. There are a lot of good things going for this company. But rest assured: whatever happens won't happen immediately. So take your pick."
I find this post was one of those many of mine which - in hindsight - had been on target. May have been lucky - on AIM nobody knows. It has never been my ambition to be right - and quite frankly I couldn't give a damn.
I am pasting this old post solely to illustrate how the PI sentiment was 3 YEARS AGO. Hope you like it.
JOHNO77: Instead of simply agreeing to your post @18.38 I promise to get back to you in - let's say 2 or 3 months latest - and will congratulate you to your prudent and realistic assessment of PM's situation (which seems to be clear to most - but not all).
Thx for that and pls remind me should I forget!
Unless Mike Buck is terminated with immediate effect I don't believe the drill order will be changed. Farm in issues are - from my POV - and particularly at this point in time clearly on the backburner (if at all).
because the Seller market says: it makes a hell of a lot of sense to sell PM shares for less than 13p (as seen and practiced - not only - today).
Today's trading volume (1.14m shares) was nothing to write home about with a ratio of 3:2 in favor of the sellers.
the good news is: The Buyers have once again (since about 2 weeks now) made clear that a SP below 13P is "predator territory".
Take a pick - want to follow the sellers or the buyers?
may very well be critical. I myself have expressed criticism and frustration concerning various PM issues. Nevertheless everybody knows that I am heavily invested in PM long term and am convinced that this company will ultimately be extremely successful.
In contrast, there are several posters who appear to be unable to see or find anything positive about PM and only post negatives - as if they would need to stem against a SP rise. Those few - if not completely stupid - should know that they come across as posters with a hidden agenda. So stop complaining when others don't agree!
