Manro + Dusty: The reason many of us PIs have invested here is based on the obvious fact that PM has an enormous potential. Not only are PM on the verge to prove that the continued display of their potential is reality; the overall situation today compared to 2010/2011 clearly displays that this investment is much more than just a speculative bet. The COS has risen substantially since then - and anyone who would dispute that risks being unveiled as a de-ramper with a hidden agenda. We PIs don't need the socalled "balanced opinions" of the usual suspects on this board. The risk of investing in AIM companies is clear enough for everyone. From my modest POV: The risk of investing in PM is much lower than with other AIM listed companies; what's much more important, however, is the fact that the risk/reward ratio outweighs anything that can currently be found on AIM. Sky high rewards are waiting for the savvy PIs - and they deserve them!

Hamm: Clearly we PMs tend to see issues which if you would mention them to the exec. mgmt they would probably answer: "We are aware of the relevant political, commercial, regulatory and whatever else issues which have or may have an impact on our operations but please let us do our job". Assuming that Sinopec is NOT the extended arm of some kind of conspirational group of Chinese companies and is consequently subject to commercial competition (e.g. CNPC, Sinochem Group, Yanchang Petroleum etc.) it wouldn't make sense for them to intentionally or even fraudulently fail on their contractual obligations as this would ultimately be known to the market and therefore detrimental to their reputation and commercial interests. I appreciate that when doing business with the Chinese you need to have both eyes open. However, I can't imagine that a guy with Mike Buck's longstanding experience would fall for any of their tricks. From my POV it is highly unlikely that the Chinese will get their foot in the Mongolian "oil door" by applying high level trickery.

Well J/H I agree with your analysis. However, apart from those speculative horror stories I've heard NOTHING to make me believe that PM will not drill this season.

In addition, his intellectual capacities appear to be solely based on his limited vocabulary: "BS", "pillock", "half a brain", "dimwits". Quite frankly, I wish I could just flip a switch and turn this stooge off.

The only real point that counts is: Do investors rather want to invest in an equally risky O&G company with a fraction of the potential of PM without a drill bit in the ground or would they rather invest in a respective company with astronomical potential? That and only that is the point.

What have we got here? Doesn't take much to make the penny pinching, jumpy and short term oriented investors start sh*tting bricks. The horror stories currently being passed around can (as usual) only be from posters with an very limited investing horizon. The good news is we LTH understand that AIM is their territory on a day to day basis; we can kick up our heals and hold as long as it takes. Apart from the delay which seems to have scared the hell out of some people(?!) PM's situation is not only just as brilliant as before the last RNS - it's even better. Don't let this overreaction fool you - it's definitely just temporary.
