Of course it's not so difficult from a simple minded perspective. Good thing we've got an analyst on board who believes to know exactly how the market functions. In particular, knowing that the posts on this board are able to boost the SP to unjustified highs - very interesting! In that case you also believe that the de-ramping posts have the same effect - also very interesting! I believe you are wrong on both accounts and therefore don't consider your contribution to be very useful (as usual).

So why are we not "well past the previous highs of 35p"? Other than the lack of investor confidence due to last year's postponements nobody really has a clue. I agree with bigbench; once the pre-announced OP schedule is confirmed by PM: What else is there to hinder the SP rise?

It is new and even a bit shocking to me to read your posts. I understand very well where you're are coming from - but could it be that this frustration is temporary and is over within a week or two? There are many good reasons you are (heavily) invested in PM. Those reasons have not vanished - they're still here. Just like I am. I feel frustration and I don't try to hide it. But this is still - and always was - a holding operation.

The overall outlook for this company is undisputed and the highest expectations are absolutely justified. What we don't know for sure is whether there will be operational delays and if PM will strike oil this year. Clearly it's a believer's game at this point. However, I don't believe the PR department can afford to inform PIs that the OP schedule is on track if it weren't the case. Based on that my interpretation of the "delayed" communication is that Mike Buck wants the next RNS to be a packed with all the positive OP status info he can get his hands on. I have no doubt that this will happen very soon.

but "when". Regarding this year's drilling program there is of course an "if" involved. The COS over the 4 drills is, however, comfortably high. Conclusion: There's oil in Mongolia -and in PM's blocks - that seems to be clear. Therefore the only question which remains is: When and how much will PM find.

Agree shadow - along with delboy and SuperRoty. It actually makes sense from PM's POV as the permit issue was always declared to be a formality. I believe that those have been granted before the end of April. Since there is no obligation to communicate the obvious there will be a more substantial RNS as soon as PM has the news at hands which could have an impact on the market and in particular the SP. I guess the investor community, particularly those on the sidelines are desparately waiting for those irrevocable signs that PM's operational schedule will be executed as pre-announced. This desperation will continue until we get the long awaited operations update which I hope is just around the corner.

I just entered a buy order for 5,000 shares limited @14p. As I see now it's been executed @12.98p. The least I can say is the MMs didn't cheat me on that one.
