The only regard you as a (presumed) investor can expect and demand is set forth in the AIM Rules for Companies. On June 1 2018 I posted the following: "AIM Rules for Companies" Part I Sect. 10: "An AIM company must issue notification WITHOUT DELAY of any new developments which are not public knowledge which, if made public, would be likely to lead to a significant movement in the price of its AIM securities." Clearly, AIM's regulators are hardly as strict as the SEC. But what this rule says is that AIM listed companies do not have the freedom to hold back share price sensitive information - even if this practice is for the purpose of increasing efficiency. I assume that the AIM regulators (as far as there is such a thing) manage this issue a lot more casual than what the rule would imply. In addition the term "price sensitive" is at least ambiguous. As we PIs would define most of the information we are waiting for as "price sensitive", PM (and any regulatory body) will - most probably - have a different opinion. Bottom line: I would prefer to be informed of "price sensitive information" WITHOUT DELAY as it comes along and not have to wait for an information package which could take weeks to wrap up. Nobody on this board agreed to my critism; in fact, "oilfated" made the point that no AIM listed companies could get away with not abiding by the (above mentioned) rules. Maybe he was right. Point in case is: MATD is obliged to play by AIM's rules. That is what PM owes you - nothing more. If you expect more than that: You are asking for pampering. Forget it. You won't get it - for absolutely justified reasons. If you believe you'll get what you call "transparency" or "regard" in order to judge PM's decisions and to anticipate how the market may react - then good luck at that. Quite frankly I would welcome PM's sp to fall another 10-20% if it would help wipe out and get rid of all those shitting-bricks-investors who are here to make a quick buck and keep clogging this board with their frustration laden posts. I expect PM's management to do whatever it takes to make PM a success. That's what their job is and what they're measured on. As a PI I don't need pampering - let PM concentrate on their job!

S/M: As an AIM investor you know that "investment strategies" are good to have but need to be adjusted from time to time. Share prices tend to rise and fall; if you don't sell you're still in the game. That's why I keep saying PIs may have to give this company more time. If you don't have the time you could get into trouble. Patience is key.

here are still convinced that MATD's potential is enormous and PM start executing the necessary drills this year to unlock that potential than there's nothing to worry about - unless of course those PI's are invested short term zeroing in on around a 30-50% profit. It may just take too long for those peeps.

With all we know at this point there's hardly any argument for a downturn. Personally, if I hadn't filled my boots already I would consider the current sp to be a clear opportunity. But as Loz already said: Your money, your choice.

Well let's here what you've got to tell - i'm sure it's public domain so you can talk freely. Interesting stuff certainly as you've been at the drill site, been to PM's offices and talked to Mike. Let's have it!

hurts - by golly you're right boreddesigner and BTW I know what I'm talking about. However, I am still holding on and willing to keep waiting for the inevitable to happen. These situations will arise from time to time (hopefully not too often as of now) but I tend to refer to them as "this is when the boys walk out and the men come in" (ladies pls excuse). My recommendation: Hold on to your shares! It may take a bit longer than we all thought - but PM will be successful; I have no doubt.

16.34% off their holdings value as it stood yesterday, based on a RNS announcing PM's fund raising intentions, I guess it would make sense to think about how way off all the predictions, speculations, negatives and positives laid out on this board have been. Let's - for once - try to be a bit humble and accept the fact that we are deplorable and expendable individuals - who attempt to make others believe they "know how things work around here" and therefore dare to make predictions or even offer "insight" or advice; we should all know by now that the value of those are close to nil - or even worse. PM, i.e. its management and BoD will do what it considers needs to be done in its very own interest, and doing that without taking advice from smart alecs on this board. So Ladies and Gentlemen: What do you choose to do? You are at the mercy of PM's leadership team who will do what they find appropriate whether you like it or not. Do you want to keep on bickering on this board as if it would make a difference? Do you want to continue attacking and insulting posters on this board as if it would make a difference? Wake up people: We are merely spectators in the AIM theater - if you think you know better: Go apply for a job with PM. Good luck at that. If not: Shut up and be happy that things are going our way!

I disagree with the sub 10p predicition. AIM is gambler territory and the prospects (read all about them in the last RNS) are so positive that even the die hard gamblers on AIM will do just one thing and the one they're best at: Betting. And it won't be on the downside.

Zellman: If there's one thing I've had to get used to is the (intended/accepted) intransparency of the AIM exchange. As a private (retail) investor you'd like to know what someone buys and someone sells - simple. If the buyers or sellers are people other than the retail market participants (particularly market makers or others) you'd like to know that too. In the absence of respective information we PIs are damned to accept the fact that share dealings are going on behind the scenes which we know nothing about. A very unsatisfactory and intransparent situation.

Totally unexpected! Personally I would have rather expected the announcement of a JV or a takeover than an additional fund raise. Goes without saying I would have preferred to receive only an operational update. From PM's POV this RNS was - probably - a prudent combination of "good and bad news" which shouldn't hit the market as bad as if issued separately. Nevertheless this will have an impact on the SP tomorrow - I hope not too negatively. What I do consider to be positive is: PM’s board and management are thinking mid/long term and firmly believe in striking oil – sooner or later. I.e. we now know that the drill schedule for this year is not a “make or break” operation. What I mean is: PM management’s agenda could have been: “Either we strike oil with this year’s drills or we’re out of here”. Today's RNS proves that PM have a different, long term agenda – even if it takes an additional year to succeed.

S/M123: Your posts on this board are very much appreciated (at least by me). And I understand your frustration based on today's RNS. However: "...good news for the company and very bad news for me and any other shareholders…" does not really hit the spot - unless you intended to sell anytime soon hoping on the pre-spud rise. As a LTH for about 8 years now I have to absorbe these kind of hick-ups along the way (even if they arise just before the assumed finish line). I too would have preferred a different type of RNS - but that's AIM for ya. As long a you don't sell at a loss - you haven't sustained a loss. It's just a number on your excel sheet.
