it appears that we (posters, most - but not all - of which are PIs) all want to make a profit.
However, regarding the extent of the profit and the strategy to achieve that we're pretty much on different pages.
Regarding PM it all boils down to the mother of all questions:
How much are you willing to sacrifice and suffer until you can reap the rewards you have targeted?
In that respect the posters and PIs on this board seem to have diametrically opposed expectations - and yes, it's got to do with whether you're a day trader, a short term speculative trader or a long term holder, i.e. a LTH who is willing to weather the lousy times and wait for the - inevitable - great times, however long that may take.
E.g. How the heck should I as a LTH discuss a short term holder's frustration of PM's 2nd placing only because it resulted in a sp decrease??? Those investors are clearly non-receptive to arguments concerning the long term well being of the company (unless it results in a short term increase of the sp).
Let's at least try to keep that in mind when posting on this board going forward.
