I guess its you who isnt reading them 33M on 31 Dec 2021, 25M on 21 Feb 2022...I am just interested in peoples predictions on when the outflow will stop
im only asking what you think the cash burn rate is and how much money is left...its neither ramping or de-ramping....you just have to have the balls to make a statement...
And yes every TUI flight is full - that is neither ramping or deramping either - its just a fact that you could easily find out for yourself
whatever - you give me an estimate then on how much cash SNG has today....i think they are down to between 10-15 M can anybody sensible give another estimate?
I dont think Synairgen have the money to get to commercial success.
The accounts presentation for the year ending 31 Dec 21 was as usual very fluffy and as expected for an AIM company. The company have also stated repeatedly that they would need a rights issue to start any production.. The other things i thought was (not) noticeable in the presentation;
1. No mention of any liabilities for the year? I though contracts had been signed for final fill etc - there must be some liabilities this year 2. 41.2 million spent in the year for a failed trial - how can company start another trial without a rights issue with only 33.8 M left in bank (@31 december - more likely as we are 6 months into year there will now be about 20 cash left in bank) - so thats two cash calls coming up - one for new trial, one for production if trial succesfull)
I hope to see more detail on liabilities when real accounts are submitted to HMRC in a months time - but I do think the share price will slowly fall to match the cash in hand for rest of year...I do think eventually big pharma will buy SNG - but they will also follow the cash in hand and buy SNG at almost nothing when cash runs out
RE: 5% Drop? Ex divi tomorrow isn't it4 May 2022 20:50
I think some folks might have missed the info regarding ex-divvy date - this is a sort of artificial construct. The Date that is important is the record date - if you are a registered shareholder on that date you get the Divvy.
Now to try keep things simple they publish an ex-divvy date - this is date that if you buy the shares before that date - the business days tick up to the record date.. so weekends are covered.
If you bought shares today on Star Wars day - you should get the dividend as the record day is 6th of may. If you sold shares today then on 6th of may you will be removed from share register - no dividend. If you sell shares tomorrow you will still be registered on 6th of may and get dividend,
The buyer and seller cannot be on the register at same time - only one dividend - what a scam if you could!
I think simply that the update failed to confirm dividend as expected today - the share price fell back in the expectation the divvy wont be paid in May. If it does get paid then a massive bonus coming up.
But could be good opportunity now to sell out at top of oil price (what will that be?) and buy back in at 20 lower if you are interested in the long term dividends. I think Saudi and to some extent Iran will open taps at £130 - and dont forget US shale oil viable again at these prices - I think difficult to see an oil price holding above $130 for long...?
BP share price will simply now track the oil price - we lost 10-15 % after the pull out from Russia. I cant see BP or any other Oil major out performing the oil price in the medium term?
RE: Potential SP increase following promising data?21 Mar 2022 20:25
I really feel sorry for the folks that think the 'trial' was badly designed. Listen to yourselves - you want a new trial that will have a positive outcome (on the share price) - that is so deluded - you can not design a trial so that you have a positive outcome - you are laughed out the room. The trial failed - end of. People still banging on about the trial drug being 'safe' as if this is a positive - Paracetamol is fecking safe - so what! it doesnt do anything for Covid either - stop flogging a dead horse
Nurse your losses and find something else to invest in.
This company has done nothing but make RM and the other directors fairly rich when they had opportunity to dump their shares last year - surprised nobody in US is talking about a class action after flogging crap for 1.75 a share last year.
And before you ask - yes I am an investor in this share
