Im equidistant from a Vue and Cineworld -switched to Vue 2 or 3 years ago on the pricing - both locations have free parking

A bit daft on several levels...
1. As someone mentioned - it will take more than putin to press the button..he might hopefully get topped if he makes such a suggestion.
2. Nato would have no interest in invading Russia - even if Ukraine nuked with some low level tactical weapon.
3. Even NATO could not and would not invade ans hold Russia - it would have same issues as russia invading Ukraine - Uk hasnt even 1 tenth of the tanks that russia has lost so far in ukraine - and UK would be lucky to pull together 50 fighter jets... same goea with most nato countries apart from US.
4. The real danger due to lack of command and control is that some low level russian commander has access to a battlefield nuke and decides to use it - fecking real nightmare scenario where your share portfolio would be worth 1% overnight

I thought I might take a bit of profit at 4.50 - but as the price is rising as the oil is below 100 I think now I will hang on until oil price comes back up - I am sure it will over winter as putin trys to turn screw on us.

Really thought we would loose 3-4 % today on ex-divvy day with oil price below 100. I said a few days ago we are now divorced from the oil price - never truly divorced - friends with benifits.

I think little to stop share price going through 450 in next few weeks and then what about second half results - again they are going to be Mega - whats the opinion more buybacks or a proper special divvy?

And Mani to save you time trawling other peoples posts I pulled out of Haleon and GSK today, Sold up after the offer on EMIS and considering increasing my stake in EV companies like Arrival, Rivian as well as the aformentioned travel companies. I think POD is a good bet as I beleive someone like BP will take it over as they move to green. A couple of UK based electric aircraft companies ZeroAvia and Vertical aerospace.
