I don't think people have yet realised just how low
TRP had gone. As someone said this morning the
market has left the cooker on here and the falls from
2014/2015 levels are well overdone.
Cup &handle progressing nicely and Candlestick analysis
supports a new uptrend.
The important thing is there is plenty of fuel in the tank
for the comeback.
I know it's corny and has been used before (only to turn out
not to be) but this could be the "greatest rise since lazarus"!!!

I know many believe charts are of little assistance to investors in small stocks let alone micro cap AIM Oilers BUT I beg to differ. The two techniques which can be of use are pattern recognition tools which
simple look at price action over time and little else.
The cup and handle pattern on the 6 month chart is at an important stage . Having tested the rise and formed the handle via consolidation over the last week or so the chart suggests we are now ready to forge ahead.
Alternatively the candle stick chart (1D) is indicating the down trend we have experienced over the last two weeks may be nearing an end. Don't forget the selling has also been driven by general poor market conditions and the 'uninformed brigade' who thought the survey ship was infact a drill ship and were disappointed the sp did not soar when she sailed.

It is interesting to note that the reverse may actually be the case in the when MV Investigator leaves the site (drill location N 04 11 21.65 E 008 41 18.02) the sp will start it climb as this will indicate the Farmout and therefore the drill are coming up on the near term horizon.

Bear this is how I see it.
Either Asher has some non Cameroon News which
will involve some cash for TRP or has enough of an
impact to push the price north of 1p (around 1.2p)
allowing him to issue a few shares to add to the existing
farmout funding without suffering dilution (more is retained)
OR
He already has the partners lined up for the full amount and is
just awaiting survey results for farm out to be inked and the Rig
contract confirmed.

The way he spelt this out with the last RNS iv quite clear to me.
The key is "cemented" and "February" IMO

to port this time after a short wait we should hear news of the Cameroon farmout which in turn will enable the rig contract to be finalised and a date to be set for the pudding of NJOM-3.
Asher presenting at Oil & Gas investor conf in a couple of weeks is no coincidence IMO.
It is a strong indication to me that he expects to be able clinch the Cameroon Farmout deal
prior to his presentation. There is an outside chance that he has some news re the Namibia
discussions but having almost spelt it out today it has to be the Cameroon.

BTW there is a very nice dojo star formation on the 1D candlestick chart.
This follows a couple of other (med) bullish patterns in the last 3 or 4 days.
Some say technical analysis doesn't work with micro cap stocks but this is
different. The system purely reflects the balance between buyers and sellers
and was developed hundreds of years ago by the Japanese to predict the price
of rice! Doji star is a strong signal for a change of trend.
There is a very good chance that it is highlighting the end of the slide from .75p
In which case I envisage new highs soon

Although I suspect the price will be
considerably more than current levels by
the time he comes to present.
As I said before new shares at 1.2p would
not result in dilution of the Cameroon.
But obviously would dilute Namibia and SA.
If Asher does indeed have some non Cameroon
news to boost the price if he needs to that good.
BUT IMO he already has the partners lined up and
hence he is looking to "cement" the NJOM-3 well
schedule in FEBRUARY once the results of the current
survey are received.
Bear I would suggest current levels are a good entry
or top up level and by waiting you will only get less shares
for your money.
A month is nothing to wait for whats going to happen here.

OK what I meant to say was is :
Here is a quick rundown for TRP over the coming months.
1) Survey, the last operational step before drilling. UNDERWAY
2) Farmout, I believe we already have the farm in partners
lined up ready to go once the survey has confirmed the well
has no 'rig positioning' issues. 3 to 4 WEEKS
3)Drilling of Njonji 3 well 2 to 3 months.

"The vessel should have completed its boreholes in a few days. Analysis of the data and preparation of final reports will take a little longer, but should allow the Company to move to more concrete scheduling of the NJOM-3 well on the Thali block later in February."

In order to be able to arrive at a 'more concrete' scheduling of the NJOM-3 well the farm in partners
need to have signed on the dotted line!!. Looks to me like Asher has just opened the bag for a quick glimpse of what is coming.
Once the survey is complete (it is not quite a formality) the farm in agreement can be inked and then the Rig can be mobilised within a month or so I would Imagine.

I was very interested in a comment by BigBear that Asher is presenting in London in a couple of weeks. Well this kind of gives the game away IMO.
This could be an absolute gift a bit like when Rockfire's boss told all and sundry he was coming over
to London for a presentation when the drill results were imminent.
