It is a bit of a FFA but well worth it. I used to deal through my bank (it seemed easy at the time), they would let me set up an ISA Trading account, that will work just like your existing account but crucially they don't allow AIM shares into an ISA. On advice from other posters, I set up an account with Hargreaves Lansdowne, they then organised the transfer of my bank share account shares into my new HL account. Once this went through (took 10 days + from memory) I transferred the max allowable into a new ISA account. I also transferred the remainder over to a new account that I set up for my wife and then put them in a new ISA account for her. Although I lost a few shares on the transfers, it was fairly painless. Be aware though that whilst the transfer from bank to HL went through, I was unable to sell any shares - potentially risky with volatile shares - so important to get the timing right. Overall though, all my shares are now locked away from the taxman. You can do this at any time but the cheaper the share, the more shares you can lock away within threshold limits (ie three times as many shares at 0.5p than @ 1.5p) Apologies if this is teaching your grandmother to suck eggs but only trying to help GLA

Had them down as a Bed and ISA but I could be wrong? Maybe ITYS has seen the error of his ways, realised he's never going to get 0.35p and bought! Hope not - I'd much rather the profit on those went to someone decent

Does it really matter how long ago the permit was applied for? Does that have any bearing on the current circumstances surrounding the FRX position in Togo - No Has the situation changed for the better in Togo, relating to FRX, over that period - Yes, significantly Is history a predictor of the future here? - Well, yes and No (IMO). We may have applied for the permit in 2012 but have we been told we are not going to be awarded it - NO. Have the Govt been engaged with FRX to deliver a permit - YES. Have we crossed significant milestones in achieving the permit - YES (Ecological Permit, new mining code, new mining convention etc etc). So, on reflection, ITYS, you are correct - as yet we do not have a permit. If you truly believe that the permit will be delayed until Q3 (or not at all) then that is YOUR opinion but I'm not sure what you are basing your opinion on - other than a wish to get in cheaper - if that is the case then you are as much a trader as others on here, who by the way have admitted as much. Personally, I'm with BJ - I think we need to get the 25th out of the way and see what happens thereafter - Q2 ends on the 30th June, so I remain confident of this timeframe being met - but I'm basing that on analysis of the current activity and circumstances in Togo.

IMO No - simply because I believe that the BoD will deliver, whatever the timeframe, which, by the way, you have no more an accurate idea of when news will hit than anyone else. However, those of us who are interested in the long term prospects of this company, tend to side with the CEO who: 1. has a Masters Degree in Mining; 2. a proven track record to the tune of $1 Billion of sales from previous projects; 3. Significant skin in the game here 4. Buying over 4m shares at 1.75p Doesn't necessarily make him right but then it certainly doesn't make you right either you sanctimonious ****

JS - I agree, that was kind of my point - some shares go mad (as UKOG did a while back) and are ages away from actual revenue generating activity. Watch it retrace again............... With FRX we have a pretty certain cash generative project within 6m, fully funded and then generating cash for other projects. Let the good times roll

an example of what happens on AIM when the news is good - UKOG up from 0.36p in Jan to 3.5p today. Here's the thing though - 18 BILLION shares in issue - that's nearly 3 times as many as people on the planet!!!!!!
