Timing versus circumstances15 Apr 2015 12:01
Does it really matter how long ago the permit was applied for?
Does that have any bearing on the current circumstances surrounding the FRX position in Togo - No
Has the situation changed for the better in Togo, relating to FRX, over that period - Yes, significantly
Is history a predictor of the future here? - Well, yes and No (IMO).
We may have applied for the permit in 2012 but have we been told we are not going to be awarded it - NO.
Have the Govt been engaged with FRX to deliver a permit - YES.
Have we crossed significant milestones in achieving the permit - YES (Ecological Permit, new mining code, new mining convention etc etc).
So, on reflection, ITYS, you are correct - as yet we do not have a permit. If you truly believe that the permit will be delayed until Q3 (or not at all) then that is YOUR opinion but I'm not sure what you are basing your opinion on - other than a wish to get in cheaper - if that is the case then you are as much a trader as others on here, who by the way have admitted as much.
Personally, I'm with BJ - I think we need to get the 25th out of the way and see what happens thereafter - Q2 ends on the 30th June, so I remain confident of this timeframe being met - but I'm basing that on analysis of the current activity and circumstances in Togo.
