22% up LOL I agree totally with the last 2 posts. I conclude that the continued silence is due to negotiations, which is denying DR the ability to 'talk'. I also think a placing is unlikely (although neither impossible - or for that matter, anything to be concerned about). Anyone investing at that level, at this point, will likely be fully briefed and will no doubt do well. However, evidence and track record are strongly supportive of DR's avoidance of unnecessary dilution. That said an update next week would be most welcome - so come on DR - let's have some news!! Contacted Google 3 times to no avail - hopeless! Wish I had funds to top up but to be honest, DR might be happy with Togo and the process but I'm getting to the point where I think we are well overdue an official update. Still positive but need something to reward us long term faithful GLA

Cheers Lano - been leaving DR alone recently as I've had other things going on so this is encouraging and dare I say it, somewhat intriguing? By 'not saying anything', it indicates strongly to me that something has changed (for the better). All previous comms have hinted at meetings to take place soon and shared frustration. If that frustration has now abated, I conclude that we are very close to news - are we now in the process of final negotiations? (hence his inability to expand)............. Maybe it is now safe to hold our collective breath (without fear of turning purple). GLA GLA

Hi BJ, with DR in Gabon and Togo (meeting the Minister amongst other things) we must be hopeful of something positive - my guess would be that he hasn't gone to Africa for a holiday so I'm hopeful of a resolution along the lines of that described by Manlord. I am really interested to hear what the developments are in Gabon - DR has indicated that they are looking at means of taking this forward, outside of world IO markets so it would be great to get some idea of what this is. Given where the SP was when Gabon was last on the table (when Togo was a secondary development), if both of these projects now come to something we can at last hope for a re-rate IMO. If these projects do get moving then anything under 3p looks like good value to me. GL all you long term (and short term) holders

I agree with Andee, I think next week could be the starting point for news. Just my opinion of course, but I am basing it on current evidence - and also a strongly held belief that the permit is not a figment of my imagination. I imagine that some posters still think this will never happen because FRX have been saying it is going to happen for 3 years and yet still we don't have a permit. One wonders if they had lived in Pompeii before Mt Vesuvius exploded, they would have been saying 'it's never going to happen because everyone has been saying it will happen for years and look where we are' Fact is, yes, we are 3 years down the road but ALL the activity that FRX have undertaken to get us to where we are today provides so much more evidence to support the delivery of the permit: Environmental Permit in place Funding in place - just because this hasn't been announced doesn't mean it isn't there - it will coincide with the permit (on which it is conditionally based). DFS is ready to go (on the same basis). New mining code and convention sorted and in place. Revised business model has also evolved over the elapsed time - significant cost savings and numerous development opportunities (rapid sale of surface ore, development of onsite smelting). 250k tonnes of ore annually for 10 + years. Keep denying that it will happen if you like, but what will we all do when you are finally proven wrong! GLA

how the MMs play this. 400k buy gone through on ISDX with pretty much parity buys and sells on LSE and yet we are down. Either a background sell yet to come or someone is being let in cheap while we await news. I have engaged with DR in the last week. Awaiting a meeting with the Minister but whilst that is on-going, I have learnt that the former Minister is still acting as 'special advisor on Mining' to the President. Ferrex have people working on the ground in Togo trying to get this over the line asap. GLA
