Halifax ISA1 Mar 2021 10:07
Just found out it takes 3 days from selling in your Halifax share dealing account to being able to phone them and get the money transferred into an ISA. An ISA I set up today (at long bloody last) to buy todays dip, now watch this correct like a mad man towards COP or over the next 2 days as I will have funds to buy more EML until the 3rd and not a moment before. Sigh.
As for the placing I will personally reiterate that the placing was clearly forwarned and not, in my opinion, at a discount that is an insult to PIs. But maybe my perspective is warped after spending 2 years in the wild west of AIM. If you would like an example of a placing done in such a way that royally screws existing shareholders then look at TRX's 2020 raise. 73% discount, 80% diluition announced after hours and the only decent part was the use of a 4 hour Primary Bid window for PIs to take part. Most however missed the after hours announcement. Then look at PREM and then VAST. Or even how UFO, that I am very comfortable in, nevertheless diluted shareholders simply because an investor that they still have not revealed wanted in @ a price that has since destroyed sentiment over there.
SO with that said I am happy to invest into an ISA at more than double my share dealing acco**** average as I am confident the BOD of EML are not out to shaft retail investors, quite the opposite in fact.
