Approaching 80 we have seen it all before. None of the investors take a blind bit of notice what is said on here, with the vast majority not even reading it. Until news comes out that is good, it cannot go up. Trying to talk all the possible good things, is not the same as actually getting the news of successes by these companies. We have now stopped buying FFWD at these prices as it will more than likely go back down to the 8s before it attracts buyers again, unless good news is released.

Lost for words, however you do need buyers to get it to rise, regardless of value.

We were only making a comment on what some one else said earlier, (just looked back and it was Lord Snooty we who made a couple of posts on the subject) it is NOT OUR idea. The fact someone spent a fixed amount of money to buy stock is a very reasonable assumption, as we have done that in the past, a fact we had considered. We were just wondering if the suggestion of bundled buys was a possibility. Quite often nothing is what it seems. It was good to see so many shares purchased. Not sure why it was not listed at the time it was done but no doubt there is a simple reason for it.
Must congratulation VALHALLA on their perception regarding us taking medication, as my wife is on life preserving medication from which she has exceeded the original specialist statement of how long she could live to. She is approaching 10 years past the expected time of her death. Of the 22 pills she takes daily one is Morphine which does affect the mind (have you hit the nail on the head?) as she now has three lower spinal fractures along with her chronic illness's. But you have got a double up, congratulations, as i also have to take 16 pills daily plus other various medical assistance's so I can look after her and control my acute arthritis, asthma, bowel and bladder muscles that do not work. Skin problems (which they have just confirmed is NOT cancer as feared). All this probably explains our stupidity. and the fact we are in our late 70s. At least we try to live a life that does not affect any one else on here and we make an effort to communicate, whether it is daft or not. As well as continuing to trade stock which helps everyone.
Please will you ALL just make relative comments with any knowledge you have to correct or confirm posts without getting personal. It s not just us we people have a go at. BUT while you have a go at us, you are leaving some other poor sod alone who it might just upset, unlike us.

Looks like that 279k buy was in fact the first buy of the day at 12.12pm, some said it may be an accumulation,of transfers/buys could they be correct.? Odd number to buy.

We all look at things from different angles and we find some comments difficult to understand.
We hold a lot of various holdings which are now mostly Investment trusts, it takes time if you to follow the ITs holdings in these trusts but we leave it to them and so long as they perform or beat the sector we stay in otherwise leave. Buying in to sectors that are low, (some would say cheap) is what we do. With the ITs holding a big range of stocks it levels out the bad ones.We do not have the resources to buy so many stocks so now leave it to the ITs and we just hold 3-4 individual stocks for fun, which look as though they are under priced. Those of you that research very deeply we hold our hand up to and use their information. We use to look for 10% PA increase plus the extra from the options we sold. (We do cover them, which reduces the income, but gives an element of safety) Some of the technical comments in posts of individual stocks we have not got a clue =what they are on about, but these investors usually only own a very limited number of stocks and give their time to research on them, for our benefit!. We have increased our FFWD holdings along with PAF As money comes available we will be increasing CRST and sell Options on Barratt along with some miners. One poor holding we still have a few off is SEE but we got out with a very small profit which covered our initial holdings and left a few pennies in the stock, Just in case it does something unexpected. However we think this will be lost eventually. Some of our other ITs invest in unquoted / very small companies as this is where you do make money if you are lucky enough to have the right ones.

You are so easy to upset, You must love trying to be-little people and their thoughts, We would not make any comment about your thoughts or actions , As we have said we have been trading for over 50 years and keep making a profit, albeit only a small one this year. We do not follow what is meant by a number of comments on here but they are entitled to them and we would not try to insult them. Rather an unpleasant thing to do we feel. Let every one invest in they way they are comfortable in doing, we can not all be perfect unlike some feel they are. We (my wife and myself) are rather lateral thinkers and that often (not always) pays off.

Notice 3-4 large purchases today which helps, someone is feeling there are good times ahead.

A few weeks ago some suggested good news would treble the price then there were some really outlandish estimates. One said it could go up 10 times.
"Ramping" this a new word to us after 50 yrs of stock buying, never stop leaning, pity we have no idea what it means. Mind you we keep ourselves to ourselves usually,

Be interesting to know what you all think FFWD will or could rise to in 12 month, if it rises at all and all this "good" information is duff. When will news be released? has to be within 48 hours or then it it will be mid Jan (no yr mentioned!!!!)

Fed up by the market doing what wall st does We go along steady as you like then at 2.30 pm Wall st drops 200 and so we drop 60. What has changed for our stocks from 2.29pm to 2.31pm
Now we know the opposite happens as well with rises,(distant past). However its just the fact we follow Wall st. regardless. Yet the LSE is far bigger. The time factor we know with them opening later has a mentality influence . It means if a share has done no wrong and it falls after Wall st opens, is that share then CHEAP?

Hear we again heading for 7p owing to those who cannot wait. Still at 7p it will be a buying opportunity Don't Forget FFWD lots to be made there.It is rising so do not leave it too long. PAF we will add to under 8p
