We have noted a couple of times on here, that it has been said it is "difficult to get a price or buy FFWD" We have never had any problems like that even at times when others say they have. Is because they trade on line or is it the Dealer they trade through or perhaps the quantity they wish to deal? Even first thing in the morning and last thing in the afternoon we have had no problems.
This is not the only share we have seen this complaint about. We do not buy very large amounts which may help and our dealer never has a problem getting a price.
The only time we have struggled with a price is when dealing an Option that is not widely traded.

Well as have not long had electricity and an inside loo, so what chance have we got of understanding FACTOM!!!!!!!

Note that there were only 3 sales in the last 3 hours so perhaps the penny has clicked re selling your holding.
If it stays at this price we have a nice % rise since Thursday. Level off here and the next jump could be 13p before dropping to 11p then up to 15p.Etc. Well in theory.

Think most selling at 10.2 must be selling at a loss, if they wanted to sell why not sell last week when 10% higher or earlier today. It is panic selling. Majority of sales are small quantities the clever ones selling 50k plus did so first thing to buy back later. Doubt if the small quantity sellers will buy back in, unless there is very good news and they buy back in at a much higher price.
Whatever, we just have to sit back and wait for the RNS's to give us a boost. if we get back to 9p the buyers should return, including us when there should be more funds are available for us to invest. So it could be a hidden bonus this fall.
Paranoir looks to be on the correct track. Have to wait until the informed ones on here comment.
We will hold firm and hope to make a good profit eventually by selling parts of our holding, we have not got a clue at what price that will be, 25p 50p £1 £2 who knows, but at each drop through profit takers, as the stock goes up we will add.
There are a number of investments in the portfolio that can make us money, so until most are either sold, IPO etc we will stay. We did forcast a drop to 10.5p but hoped that would attract buyers, which it has not.

There is the old adage that when a share drops 10% get out, with this 5% should have signaled retreat.
Was hoping people would keep their stock, we could have taken a small profit and bought back in. Perhaps it is us who are silly not doing it, However when ever we tried this with other stocks it went wrong because as soon as we sold, up went the price.
Just hope we do not go back to 9p again. But if we do then we would buy more

As previously, the buyers will hold fire until they see it bottom out after the "get your money back" sector have stopped selling. Not unexpected, even we were tempted, but not seduced. How far it wll go back is anyone's guess, we did think 10.5 but it could be lower if those with weak hearts continue to sell.

If it so good why are they not getting firm orders yet, we did read a couple of years ago it did not work properly with some one when we think it was trialed, accept it may have improved.
We are not running it down and did buy more on Friday morning, to show confidence. Seen so many aim that look like world beaters only to fail. SEE is one that promised the world, We got out at a small profit and still have a few, just in case.
FFWD appear to buy in to clever things, we must give them that. Especially like Intensity.
This is the reason we now buy in to this type of investment trust, as they generally know what they are doing. Our holding in FFWD is 3 times the percentage of any other we have in our portfolio. But we must question everything.
Lets see what Monday brings. At least we will be here on Monday as our hospital appointment has been cancelled,. it is over 100 miles for us to get to the hospital so better to go in the spring.

Earlier today we bought at 9p and said we would try our luck at this price ( all previous prices with all the good information we were given saw the price retreat after we bought) only to be told never buy on luck!!!!!!! But then we always attracted sarcasm regardless at what we said.or did.
There had to be a price it would start to rise at eventially as we bought on al the 1pl drops. So nothing clever there. We just had faith in it, In fact we should have just waited.
Why has there been such a big rise? Personally we think it was at the stage where once we along with a few others started buying with no sellers it had to rise, Then everyone jumped on the bandwagon, scared they would miss out. At 9p, all the sellers had packed it in this morning, leaving a clear path for those who had held firm and it was a buyers dream come true
So what will happen Monday, we did say we wanted a gradual rise, well we did not get it. Therefore we could see people think over the weekend, NO news (if there is none), we are at break even or thereabouts lets take our our money and run. Hopefully they will not do that in any large amounts, but we can understand them doing it.
What we do need is others to think something big is about to happen after such a big rise, lets get in and that would nullify the sales.
With the NAV about 11.4 a share price of 10.5 would not surprise us.
We bought with blind faith again and others did the same, just would like to see everyone hold their breath and stay in for the long run. Some of you must have recouped a lot of money, far more than us. So lets hold our breath and see what Monday brings.
Perhaps after that gain others (who are counting their increased value) on here will not have a go at us on these thoughts, but then who cares what others say, especially if it does go up. We have only just seen the price rise from mid dayand thought there was an error, even checked the London Stock Exchange to confirm the price. As we said before we know nothing just follow the logic.

Feel that the buying now is just because some investors feel that around 9p was around the bottom, not for any other reason.
A steady gradual rise is required by those who see value, rather than news may be best. Where as a big jump will bring too many sellers out of the woods as they break even with their investment
Do not want it to reach £1 until the end of March!!!!! at the earliest.

Tried our luck and bought a few this morning to add to our current holding.
Hopefully the price will hold but we need more buyers, at what stage they will add is anyone's guess, if they will add at all.

We like the rest of you are clueless where the SP will go (Excluding news good or bad) Just surprised that there are still sales at this price, albeit not so many now.
The % that FFWD is of our total portfolio is double that of our next highest holding. So whether we add or not any increase in the price will be a bonus. We have never held such a high percentage in one holding, with our 50 odd stocks usually being fairly evenly invested in each sector we hold . We also hold other I.Ts that invest in unquoted stocks making this sector very high for us.
Most unlike us to be very heavy in one sector. The last time we did was after the Brexit vote and we bought builders which paid off.
If your positiveness about this stock ( which appears very realistic) comes to fruition, it will be a nice bonus for us. The initial good news may even come from a holding in the FFWD family that was not highlighted very much by you all, let alone those you are excited about. That is AIM.
Are you still niggling at one another? not looked at the posts for a bit owing to those niggles.. Will look again at your posts in a couple of weeks, perhaps you will get back to informative ones by then.

So it has hit the 8p range for a sale , but with more sales it has started to up again to over 9p. To be honest we are not sure as to when we start adding again.

Sorry all but we were not enamored with the NAV, debt is very high. If gold price retreats the SP may suffer. So as we had sold 50% of our holding a couple or so months ago when we broke even then after todays results we sold the other 50% for a small profit.
We feel there are better opportunities elsewhere ( china, small companies Emerging etc.) at the moment That is why we sold out. The SP could go up but we felt a retretreat or stagnation may be the future for a few months. Should it drop we would return, but the NAV bothered us.

We must confess to selling 50% of our holding a couple of months ago when we had equalised our outlay by adding stock when the price was low. It is still one of our largest holdings though.

Thank you for you response. We doubt whether we know more than you. Our portfolio is mainly in Investment trusts as we came to the conclusion a long time ago that they know better than us and they have a wide portfolio, one we could never have. After 50 + yrs of investing, we both are approaching 80, and know only what we read. The one thing we try to do is buy when stocks/sections are low sell when they hit a high. Neither not easy but worth following.
Some people write as they know it all (you only have to read the FFWD (we do have a large holding here) posts to see the arguments and personal rude attacks on each other by people who claim to know what is going on.
PAF, a lot of small selling today is sending the price down, but you are correct about the RNS earlier this month so hopefully all will be well.

Naked truth: You feel the price will drop after the results, that is why you are not buying now? That is why you are not buying now but waiting until Wednesday.

No advance until we get decent buyers, regardless of what we should be at.
Hope the Interim report is ok with no hidden nasties.
PAF is just out of favour. With gold up we really should be steaming ahead, which is quite worrying as we are stagnant at the moment. Perhaps everyone is waiting for the Interims on Wed..

We all know that some trades are incorrectly listed and their figures may be wrong, but take that up with London South East We were simply quoting what London South East had on their site earlier today, as a generalisation it shows over 50% more sales than buys.
Try not to get so worked up about things you do not agree with, thought you had all calmed down. Look like we will not be around to read all your interesting comments for a bit.
