The Company regards it as a very positive development that Alba will own all gold produced during this pilot processing phase, as this is not normally the case in the exploration phase of a mining project. (from the end of this morning's RNS).

It looks as if Alba is receiving serious encouragement in its endeavours from The Crown Estate.

The Gwynfynydd Gold Mine is the second largest producer of gold in the UK's history, after the Clogau-St David's Gold Mine (from the opening paragraph of today's RNS).

The future is very promising indeed.

I make that 2bn shares traded since the beginning of last Friday.

The first RCJ hearing RNS and subsequent sessions may not have put much on the share price, but they have certainly woken up the market.

They have been confident about Clogau's prospects ever since discovering those 10 new anomalies in the Dolgellau gold belt more than a year ago.
Nothing has happened since to dent their confidence. On the contrary, they have now extended their regional exploration rights.
