The share price tells you what the market thinks of the share today, so you've now moved from the past to the present, Bubblepoint, but what interests most investors is the future.

2 different versions: that of management is forward-looking, that of yourself, Bubblepoint, is backward-looking.

Hopefully, a successful conclusion to Finch v Surrey CC will help to clarify matters quickly.

In this instance, the majority vote isn't enough, they need the agreement of each of the 2 minority shareholders in HHDL.

At Balcombe, ANGUS stated in their answers to Investor Questions of 31/10 that they await "certainty that no appeal against the recent judgement will be made or accepted" (and to refinance their existing debt facility).

Yesterday, the protestors announced they will be seeking to make an appeal.

"One of the reasons we had wanted a global refinance in the first place, is that the current senior loan facility “sweeps” away excess cash to accelerated debt repayments which means that exploratory capex, as at Balcombe, will need to wait for a refinance and certainty that no appeal against the recent judgement will be made or accepted". (extract from answer to Investor Question dated 31/10/23)

We can see that the current senior loan facility is an operational straitjacket from which ANGS have to escape if they wish to do anything more than repay it.

If the markets come to believe yesterday's Fed decision marked a key point in the interest rate cycle and begin to anticipate an eventual decline of interest rates, then the valuation of all long-term projects should benefit, as a lower discount rate is applied in determining net present values.

It's obvious but could lead to a major reassessment of some of the stocks involved which could re-rate very quickly (it won't be for the first time!).

It makes the 2 investors combined significant shareholders in UKOG, so a TR-1 will be required.
