In fairness to Ibug, Alba stated that "As at the date of this (Half-year report (17/08), the (non-controlling )shareholders (of HHDL) have not approved the farmout.

That isn't necessarily a "No", that is a suggestion there is more work to do in order to obtain Alba's agreement.

It's an unusual arrangement, given that PPP is seeking to obtain exposure to HH-3, ... without taking a stake in HHDL.

One can see how the non-controlling interests might have something to say in the matter.

As of now, the agreement is between UKOG and PPP, the non-controlling interests in HHDL (and, in particular, Alba) have yet to accept it.

-- The farmout to PPP is subject to the completion of a formal Farmout Agreement between the Parties, formal consent by each Parties' respective boards, the full consent of all HHDL's shareholders and regulatory consent from the North Sea Transition Authority for any Licences interest assignment. So it will need the Supreme court judgement in Finch v Surrey CC to be delivered and for the proposed farmout to be amended to the satisfaction of all the interested parties.

From Alba's Half-year Report RNS of 17/08:

... The farmout is subject to approval by the shareholders of the operator of the field, Horse Hill Developments Limited, including Alba. As at the date of this report, the shareholders have not approved the farmout.

Following yesterday's video with Andy Clifford and this morning's RNS, PPP looks to be a far more interesting farminee than I, personally, had appreciated.

PS: graphite is a non-metal so Exxon's initiative primarily concerns lithium. But it is an interesting development.

Financial Times: ExxonMobil has unveiled plans to use its drilling and processing prowess to become a leading player in battery metals.

Should be getting a TR-1 soon re the holdings of Riverfort and its partner.

It could be a major plus for HH to farm in a company with current drilling experience in Texas.
