Edinburgh Investment Trust fund managers James de Uphaugh and Imran Sattar say an oversold UK stock market is ripe for a rebound as falling inflation lifts real incomes".

Think this could well be right, think the market in general my be heading for better times.

UK Oil & Gas plc (London AIM: UKOG) is pleased to announce that the Pinarova joint venture's order of more powerful 7-inch perforating guns, capable of fully penetrating Pinarova's 95/8-inch casing, arrived in-country last week via airfreight into Istanbul. Upon completion of the necessary preparations/paperwork the guns will be transported to site, triggering the resumption of testing operations.

The 70m trade is timed at 16:18:13, before the close.

The share price is where it is on lack of news.

We can all see the share price and the volume and work out how little this represents in pounds, shillings and pence (!).

But there have been 4bn share volume days in the not so distant past.

So let's see if there is any positive news to come soon, re Pinarova-1 and/or Finch v Surrey CC.

Aladdin Middle East ... has advised that the resumption of testing operations within the Germik/Hoya sequence, utilising larger and more powerful 7-inch perforating guns, capable of fully penetrating the well's 95/8-inch casing, is expected in around 4 weeks once the guns are on site. We have not received confirmation yet that the guns have arrived on site.

PS: the principal deramper at the time was JA51, subsequently banned on this board but still active on the rival site.

Been here a l o n g time. The original claim of the derampers was that Angus would not obtain the operatorship of Saltfleetby and the re-assignment of its licence.

On the negative side, PIs have been waiting for almost exactly 6 months since the search for the 7-inch perforating guns began (23/05/23).

On the positive side, despite this protracted delay, the partners have persisted, so they clearly believe the exercise is worth undertaking.

If the refinance deal comes through, then the current price level may, in retrospect, look like a bargain.

Don't believe every share price movement requires an identifiable reason. For the share price to rise, all that is required is for more and more PIs to come to the conclusion that the price decline has been overdone.

Jeremy Hunt's £4.5bn of green investment support announced yesterday forms part of an Advanced Manufacturing Plan + a battery strategy + a hydrogen industry task force, all for next week.

It's the time of the year when investors review their portfolios and make their choices for the coming year.

Angus has made very good progress on the ground this year but that progress has not been reflected in its share price.
