The LSE first said it was investigating the issue at 9.29am, with trading suspended in companies including online retailer Asos, drinks maker Fevertree and polling business YouGov. At 10.17am, it said normal trading had resumed for affected stocks.

But just over an hour later the exchange suffered a second outage, hitting the same stocks again. “We are undertaking immediate analysis,” it said at 11.35am. (from the FT)

Agreed that a more buoyant gas price would be helpful in the discussions:

Clearly equitising the £3 million bridge facility has improved the terms of the debt we are seeking and allows us more latitude in determining the final amount we are seeking. That can't be done but there is a very big margin with which to play.

The discount is enormous, especially given we are not talking about virgin territory, there is a well-established mining history to this part of North Wales.

No- it's simply the market cap of Alba less its holding in GROC divided by 500,000 ounces to give a market value per ounce of $13.6

If we work on the basis of the Snowdon Mining Consultants' report of 2012 of potential resources of 500,000 ounces then, adjusting for the holding in GROC, the Alba share price currently values each ounce at about $13.6.

Looks as if the last 1bn+ share volume day was on 26/04 so it's been pretty quiet trading for more than 7 months now.
