The Company presently has a 25% interest in the Licence and is in discussions with the 75% majority partner regarding that interest and the work programme with regard to the project's various stages. (Angus's RNS of 17/10/23)

I read that to mean Angus are looking to up their stake in Balcombe (but can always be mistaken!).

It also makes DL's ambitions for HH more exciting than I had appreciated because, to realise them, it looks as if he will need to raise new funds and, therefore, promote the idea of further exploration at HH and in the Weald.

Know very little about PPP but historic bopd figures of 15-20 for each of 2 wells are modest: it looks as if DL's ambitions for HH are more important for PPP than I had appreciated.

The Sunday Times: Jose Fernandez, under-secretary for economic growth, energy and the environment in the US State Department, has warned that China’s move to curb exports of some critical minerals used in green technology shows that the West must accelerate its efforts to find its own sources (from Citywire's round-up of the morning papers).
