GreenRoc Strategic Materials (GROC), a company focused on the development of critical mineral projects in Greenland, announce that the Government of Greenland has decided that the Company’s application for an Exploitation Licence for the Amitsoq Graphite Project in South Greenland fulfils submission requirements.

Comment: As we know from AMRQ, Greenland is a friendly jurisdiction for mining group’s and the latest green light certainly gets GROC on its way. A break of the 200 day moving average at 1.65p and a move towards 2.5p year highs could be the result by the end of the year.

It does constitute recognition, which is already a major achievement.

For what it is worth:

their Australian option was their first new project. The RNS dates from 24/04. As we know, the project came to nothing.

That RNS followed the Level 4 RNS of 26/03:

Can their confidence in Clogau be dated from these "exceptionally high gold grades" or do these grades simply form part of their overall positive assessment of Clogau?

Something tells me Alba know what they have down in that mine and its not fools gold..that is my educated guess.

PS: that is what I understand from this answer to an investor's question on their site which I have already cited elsewhere:

"... Production of gold products – we have already announced the production of a limited first run of commemorative gold coins, which will be sold to generate revenues. And we intend to do the same with gold produced from the current bulk sampling programme and gold produced from further waste tip extraction ..."

Think those are the latest RNSs on the subjects.

I think we can assume that the gold from Level 4.5 is being processed but we don't know if any of it has gone for assaying.

Think the gold for the first coins comes from their earlier work.

Re 1/ as of the RNS of 15/07:

The Company will continue and complete the remainder of its planned trenching programme before making a final decision on the wider exploitation of the tip involving the submission of an application for planning permission.

Re 2/ as of the RNS of 29/10:

- The volume of ore found in situ at Levels 4 and 5 from historic mining operations has greatly exceeded what was anticipated, leading to a significant ore extraction exercise being completed prior to blasting, involving some 25 tonnes ...

Newly blasted ore currently remains underground but will be removed to surface for sample processing and assaying ...

Re 3/ pretty soon, imho.

It increases the number of issued shares - that is something that has to be supplied to the market without delay.

The Company also announces that it has settled approximately £20,000 in fees via the issue of 50,860,071 new ordinary shares to two suppliers".

So 2 suppliers accepted payment in shares at a price of about 0.3932p, more than 20% higher than the current market price.

What do the 2 suppliers know that investors don't? :-)

GF also subscribed £17k to the 18/07 placing, as did Michael Nott for £3k.

For the GROC placing of 31/05, GF subscribed £9,499.99, Michael Nott £4,999.99 and Mark Austin £5,249.99.

All of this adds up and shows continuing financial commitment on the part of the directors to both Alba and GROC.
