Agree with ZYX098 in his comments about the North Sea. It's an industry which has done Scotland and the UK proud over very many years, believe it should be treated with greater respect today.

And think it's a straightforward gamble on the part of government because there is no guarantee at all that greener sources of energy will develop in lockstep with the decline of the North Sea.
