the Appeal court hearing took place last month. We now await the delivery of the court's judgment at some stage.

Re the planning application for new wells at Saltfleetby:

DrillOrDrop asked Angus Energy today why it had withdrawn the application. A company spokesperson said the application was being reformatted “with an intention to resubmit shortly” (see D or D's article of 08/10/24).

This followed the Supreme court decision in Fitch v Surrey CC re scope 3 emissions.
