The entry price is unpleasantly low but shouldn't we be welcoming the arrival of an institutional investor in the share capital?

I omitted certain passages from my extract from the RNS. The passage below should mean your figure understates the total they have now extracted

"Blasting progress slower than anticipated due to large volume of historic ore to be removed plus insufficient air pressure to rock drills (since rectified by order of larger compressor)".

· Continuous drilling and blasting operations are ongoing at Clogau, with 565 man-days having been completed in total since pre-blasting operations began in early August.

· Estimated 120 tonnes of ore to date removed to surface for processing, combination of historic and newly blasted material.

· Large amounts of visible sulphide mineralisation encountered in blasted rocks. The high level of sulphide mineralisation within the projected payshoot considered good indicator of associated gold mineralisation.

Each of 106.5m shares at 0.01219p boosts day's volume to 434.6m shares.

... In a recent interview with Dig Deep The Mining Podcast Mark Austin, when talking about the nuggety gold veins at the LLechfraith target said " finding these pods of gold ,which are incredibly rich, you're looking at percentages of gold in the rock face" .

I always understood you expressed the quantity of gold content in the ore in grams per tonne or ounces per tonne so what did he mean by percentages of gold? ...

Hello and thanks for your question. We understand that reports of the historic grades of these really high grade pods had them running into the tens/hundreds of ounces per tonne. At the upper end of that scale, the grade would be approaching 1pc per tonne (because 350 ounces of gold in a tonne of ore is about 1pc) ...

Alba's 28.15% stake (my calculation) of GROC's market cap of £3.39m = £0.95m.

Alba's market cap is currently £1.81m so North Wales is valued by the market at £0.86m.

That is very little indeed, given that the Clogau mine is there (and the Dolgellau gold field, too!).

From GROC's RNS of this morning, it is clear their hunt for alternative sources of funding (than equity placings) continues:

It could also be that the placees were the ones to approach UKOG and to propose their terms, knowing UKOG would be in need of funding.
