Hi. I have been a shareholder since 2020 and have topped up my holdings before and after this latest placing.

How soon can I expect an update on general progress and of course the auction? Also, what plans are in to get good coverage for the auction?

There will be a multi-media approach to the marketing of the coins. The roll-out for that will start soon, in the run up to the launch of the first auction.

Despite the £4.770m impairment of Brockham, "At 30 September 2024, the carrying value of oil & gas production assets was £70.9 million (2023: £80.2 million).

Management performed a review for indications of impairment to its producing assets as of 30 September 2024 and identified impairment indicators. They then assessed the recoverable amount of the Saltfleetby, Brockham and Lidsey assets. Impairment of £4.8m was recognised for the Brockham asset (the Lidsey asset having been fully impaired in the prior year)".

Angus is evaluating the drilling of a new well, adding a fourth producer to the field to accelerate production and increase shareholder value. The well is in the preliminary design phase with a target drilling date of late 2025, pending delivery time for long lead items. The target drill date would allow for 2-6 mmcf/d incremental field production in early 2026.

A good quantity of ore has been blasted and removed to the surface, we don't know precisely how much.

We await indications as to its gold content but "The presence of significant amounts of visible sulphides in the blasted rock is very encouraging, as is the identification of visible gold" (RNS of 11/12/24).

The Mine has been inactive since the 1990s and, as such, this first, limited production of such high quality coins is expected to attract significant interest from both UK and overseas collectors and investors.

Market values North Wales at the equivalent of £600,000/£2,271.38 = 264 ounces before any Clogau premium.

A 100% premium would make the market valuation equivalent to 132 ounces and a 200% premium, to 88 ounces.

GROC market cap at 1.25p per share: £3.14m

Alba's 28.14% stake = £0.88m

Alba market cap at 0.0135p: £1.48m

North Wales valued by the market at £1.48m - £0.88m = £0.6m ie £600k.

Yes, Robbie, people appear to have sold some stock on sight of the placing price of 0.0125p. Were they right to do so? Or was the institutional investor right to buy in at that price?

GF could have made a bigger placing using the II as a core investor, but didn't.

Gives the impression the placing was led by the institutional investor rather than by Alba.

It may be an institutional investor with whom management already had a contact or it could be an II which has approached the company with an offer.

Either way, it is positive to see an II taking a stake.

Retail aren't doing it all, the RNS specifies that the subscriber is an institutional investor!
