We have the results of the concentrates produced from the first 11.6 tonnes of newly blasted ore, which constitute 7.4% of total current surface stockpiles.

Can we extrapolate the results of these results to the remaining surface stockpiles? No we can't.

Fail to see why the gold should have disappeared simply because the market price fell to $300 and made it uneconomic to mine.

So believe the gold is there but not in the 108.6kg of concentrates produced from processing the first 11.6 tonnes of newly blasted ore.

the company is very pleased to announce the appointment of dr. peter bolt as chief mining engineer for the clogau gold mine. peter bolt is a highly experienced mining engineer, with a degree and phd from cardiff university. he worked for a decade at srk (uk) ltd, becoming principal mining engineer. between 2002-7 he worked as a director of aim-quoted mining companies, including managing the underground development programme at the *****ana gold mine in colombia. in 2007 peter joined continental gold as vp operations, responsible for their exploration and development projects in colombia, including the buritica, machuca and el limon mines. in recent years, peter worked as an independent consultant on mining projects in europe and africa and was a consultant with wsp for 6 years. he has previously consulted to the company in relation to the clogau gold project.

Robbie, I have no idea what the average will prove to be across all of the blasted and historic ore but the figures of the Level 4 samples are the ones we have available to us and these were for "ore that did not contain visible gold and is interpreted as being part of the background gold population".

They have shown us a photo of visible gold from their blasting programme and, hopefully, the programme is focusing on a promising zone at Level 5.

Biggest volume stock on the market.

In the absence of any other information, I'll stick with the average of 3.59 ounces (not grams) per tonne of the 3 samples taken at Level 4 (RNS of 26/03/24).

Will revise this to take account of new evidence when it becomes available.

Day's volume now exceeds 1.3bn shares.

Additionally, the Company continues discussions with several energy infrastructure investors regarding joint venture participation in the Company's South Dorset and Yorkshire projects owned by its wholly owned subsidiary UK Energy Storage ("UKEn"). The bashers are active when the share price declines. In the event of a strong rebound, they can become very scarce.

So the gold for the coins comes from neither the current blasting programme nor the historic ore which had to be removed - it is tantalising not to know what all that ore contains.

Hello - it is from a combination of waste tip and underground test production but not from the present blasting programme.

Raised £400k on 21/02, less than 3 weeks ago.

£400k won't last for ever but it will last longer than 19 days.

They will be in a position to control the release of gold to the market in order to protect the premium.

Given the royal connection, would expect any jewellery produced with Clogau gold to be high-end.

If they can get £10k for an ounce, then 100 ounces = £1m and the future is looking bright :-)
