Not sure about that.

Certainly for an industry player, there could well be an interest in obtaining an initial stake at what may prove to be a modest price in order to gain exposure to the project and exert some influence over its development.

Does UKOG's shift of focus from Portland to South Dorset reflect, at least in part, input it has received from discussions with potential partners?

"... it is the Company view that South Dorset's potentially significant increased revenue potential, plus the simpler, substantially lower CAPEX renders it more economically competitive ... versus other potential applicants' projects on a cost/TWh basis".

Who knows? Perhaps, at some stage in the future, UKOG will be re-named UKEn? And the existing UKEn will be split up between UKEn Dorset and UKEn Yorkshire?

UKOG opens the capital of UKEn to an external investor.

The resultant boost to UKOG's share price enables it to raise funds on more advantageous terms and withdraw from its exposure to certain liabilities such as BB.

As for an external JV partnership – no Company would partner with a Company which has a market cap of £2.6 Million, has liabilities (P&A and site restoration of BB & HH) that exceed it’s market cap, has a cash burn of over £200k pcm and will need to issue more confetti in the near future just to keep the lights on.
