According to latest fastmarkets spot is approximately $22,500/t (Hydroxide, but LCE not too dissimilar).

Therefore total in ground value is 7,390,000t * $22,500/t = $166B

Not surprising deals are getting bigger given the state of the lithium hydroxide spot ($22.5/kg) and futures ($26/kg out to a year) :-)))

- Hope to be funded about this time next year and moving towards construction

That 2024 is likely year "-1", 2025 likely ramping up to half capacity, and 2026 ramping up to full capacity meaning that by 2027 Cinovec will be able to supply the full needs of a 40GWhr CEZ Gigafactory, by matching its ramp up schedule.

In terms of kicking the funding can down the road until lithium prices recovered. Absolutely! I doubt Kieth's hand has ever been so strong as it is today - it's even conceivable that off takes to third parties may accelerate the timelines and full production capacities as envisaged by WHI - a doubling is surely on the cards in the light of growing demand and prices. :-)))

1. Announce that the deal has been signed by all parties - could happen at any time, today even.
2. Then announce that it has been submitted to the courts for hearing on a particular date.
3. Then announce the courts have authorised the deal subsequent to that date.
4. Then a couple of weeks later announce that the deal has been ratified by the courts.
5. Then announce we have taken ownership of 20% of the project.

I suspect 1 & 2, possibly 3 will be combined, and 4 & 5 combined.

@deepbreath. The settlement agreement has not yet been signed, I don't believe Kiran gave timescales for this, but given that it is in its near final form it could be signed and submitted to the courts at any time, yesterday even. Once submitted and the court is happy, it then takes a couple of weeks to be ratified and at which point we can release our 20%. I make that 3 RNS'able points on the timeline - whether we get 3 though is anybody's guess, though it's possible court watchers might spot them! ;-)

@A_D Break even prices are tricky! All else being equal at the time the JRP was agreed in summer 2019 then $61/t Fe 62%, $80/t Fe 65% was deemed to be sufficient to make the project's recovery tenable and presumably profitable, so break even price could reasonably be assumed to be less than those. But all things aren't equal: freight costs have risen, but exchange rates have moved in our favour. Other things have no doubt changed too, impacting on project dynamics. e.g. the currently private agreement with the secured creditors.
