Hey Surfit, yes I'm in the same boat. Kinda wish I sold the whole lot when we reached 2p, but with my luck I was too afraid to risk it. Hind sight makes it look simpler I guess.

I have not thought about the short and demerger angle( not that I'm knowledgeable in the matter 😅) so I asked ChatGPT and it have me this:

"When you short a stock, you borrow shares of the parent company. If the company later performs a demerger / spin-off, the owners of those shares (including the person you borrowed from) become entitled to:

Shares in the new spun-off entity OR

A cash distribution OR

Other adjustments depending on the terms

So I guess they don't have to close it 🤔

Who ever held that short position on IG, looks like they finally closed it out. It was 3% short from the 0-50 clients with open positions on there for a long time. Now it's 100% long. Not that it matters much. I'd like to believe it was our Harry 😅

The renewable power section now says:

Looking at my stock watchlist and it's all a sea of red today. Makes me think it could be a larger market trend, although I'm sure no news on any meaningful progress from Char doesn't help matters.

Looks like the bill is still sitting in parliament. Could be the reason for the hold on news for Anchois etc. 🤷

That was my thought too Surfit. I did some inquiries with Chat GPT, and it looks like CHAR, being the small cap that they are, is not typical of who AWCA usually do business with. So hopefully there is something there, that they see value in 🤞. Anyways this definitely makes things more "interesting" 😅
