Indeed Onassis. It seems no need to buy at 23p when almost guaranteed to drop to 22p. Having said that I topped up a few days ago at 23p and if I had watched the trend more carefully I would have saved a penny. But, hey ho, with this going to higher multiples of the low 20p's , so what. Remember 3p, 7p during suspension and frankly where it is now is pretty darned good considering we have no idea what the final sale price will be. Here's to a bit of Friday FOMO tomorrow for the weekend and under 30p a distant memory too by next week.
Biddwolf. in answer to your question, yes I went for market price and was surprised as it was well below the "supposed" Ask ; 24p to 23.3p. I try a bit of both but most times I just hit the market button to test the waters, so to speak.
Damn, I now have a greasy mouse and keyboard as just finished eating a very buttery BLT for lunch which melted befor I could even close the sandwich up. oh well, might be able to afford a new computer soon.
I just topped up 30,000 shares at 1117 when Ask hit 24p but got them (shown as a Sell) for 23.3p. Nice little message from ii to say how kind they were to improve my order by £210. lol.
Only mentioning this as it just shows again even when the Ask was at 24p I was getting a quote much nearer to the Bid but as always, it immediately dropped. Typical. Always happens to me but hey ho, its only going one way over next few weeks/months?
brookers - yes thanks. I had a few replies so get it now (green box etc). Funnily enough I haven't filtered, obviously (hence why I didn't know what the green box was) as some posters' comments helps pass the time whilst awaiting final outcome of the EUA story. It's easy to see the ones that have hidden agendas and reading them provides mild amusement and can be ignored just as easily. I would guess that, in most cases, it's not worth replying either as they get fuelled by the responses and only seems to start a longer thread riddled with vitriol. Whilst here I have gained a great deal from the informed posters and have to say I have topped up to somewhat higher levels than normal by the excitement here. Nervous but excited at the possibilities (say, 50 p + conclusion) and, in finishing, look forward to positive outcome soon so none of us here will need to use the green box anyway.
montanacowboy - ahhhh. thanks for that. derr to me! I guess it's because I assumed there really was a little green filter bin or box. Dare I ask why it's called green box" now as there isn't one there or is it some form of euphemism?
Why laser when you can have RLE (lens exchange). No zapping and you get reading and distance all in the same op. i.e. no specs ever again for anything. OK I am biased but frankly when considering the two why zap your eyes when you can just change the lens; some as a normal cataract op (15 mins). Anyway, always worth reading up on options but if you can get it cheaper or free; even better, then go for RLE. I had my procedure at Optical Express with 1st class Harley Street office of theirs from start to follow-up. The procedure took place in Westfield Shopping centre, Hammersmith so went shopping half an hour later. One eye then wait a week and back for number two eye. Brilliant.
Without wishing to turn this BB into a long discussion on eye surgery I had to put my penny’# worth here as I have had what is known as RLE which is Retractive Lens Exchange. In its simp, est form it’s a kind of cataract op but more. I never need glasses and would never consider laser anyway. RLE means my eyesight is better than 20/20 and apart from using a cheap £1/£2 pair of glasses from a Poundland, for very, very close up work like fiddling with tiny screw jobs ( eg replacing screws, say, in a watch by way if a simple example, I never need glasses at all again. About £2k an eye admittedly but if you can afford it, it was brilliant. Can read, see distance and no specs ever again. I, for one, highly recommend. Check it out on internet. Sorry, just had to reply.
The frustration I have is that I can put up to £100,000 in to an ISA right now due to APS rules (death in the family 2 years ago) but I haevn't got £100,000 to put there so I might lose it soon. Thankfully me and 5 other family members do have ALL our EUA in an ISA but I still have a substantial amount of my own investment in ii Trading account. I guess will just have to pay the tax unless anyone here wants to give me a "gift", I put it all in the ISA and gift it back to you........less a small percentage commission of course. Then need to live for 7 years. hmmm, Might work but may be too late if news drops of a sale imminently.
Not sure but I am thinking of sailing to Cyprus next month (from Turkey) so might just search her out and ask her out on a date leading to ....maybe..... will marry me! On second thoughts, maybe not. Might be some "heavies" in the way.
This started the "discussion"........JK said:
Buy buy buy buy buy, is the only view that's permitted and so when one of the company's major shareholders (Queeld) dumps their entire position it's completely ignored because it's not the right "news".
needless to say it was followed by quite an attack back on him/her.
