Hi hangman. You could always Bed 'n ISA.
Techincally you are buying them back but without selling at the market BID price and then paying full ASK.
A good broker will smooth the transaction for you.
Also all depends on how much you have invested. If likely to go over the CGT tax threshold then good idea. If you have a nominal amount then maybe still a good idea but you get first £13k approx. free of tax. However dividend in the iSA is free of tax. Very roughly btw.

dealer55 - yes I take your point too and I wonder if a big shareholder (not here) was in fact pushing for more detailed clarification as a way of pushing things along a bit or this "was" simply for clarification. As I read and re-read the RNS I can't help thinking that this was in fact just clarifying some detail, as in, like an amendment only. Hence the SP is not rocketing. It's a kind of cross t's and dot i's only RNS if you read it closely. Doesn't really need the word "pleased" either. Then again maybe some coded message (as always) in the part about strategy to say - hey, things are still on track. Patience. hmmm. As always with EUA RNS's one needs to be a code breaker.
