Nice post JohnDough. So good I posted on the other site with credit to you. Very exciting. Amazing techonology when you think how they strated "digging" with a bucket and spade [almost] not so long ago. lol.
Came across this. Good to know we have the best; vote of confidence refers:
Helmerich & Payne has been named the No. 1 Land Driller in the EnergyPoint Research Contract Drillers Survey for the 14th year. In addition to its top marks overall, H&P captured the highest ratings in job quality, technology, HSE, digital and big data, Texas & Mid-continent, Onshore Gulf Coast, horizontal and directional applications, plus three additional categories.
Swazers. tbh I am not sure charts mean much in AIM shares and right now, like many AIM oilers, SP is purely driven by traders (T10/T20 lot) timing RNS's and news. Just my thoughts.
BC. With respect, you are missing the wider and better picture, now, not then. It’s been a lost year or more but this is good news on restarting Paradox which we know is a winner. Yes, frustrating wait but , bar another blow out, this is extremely good news.
…today. Buy.
Like B1ll I have finally drawn a line under this one. I was , like some, just under a 7 figure profit once (40p+ days). Sheer greed and sold none. Slowly been selling over past year or two and thankfully many at 15p whilst on the way down, so, like you B1ll, I have been drip feeding into other stocks and just last week into HE1 from £0.0032 up to average £0.008 (closed today at £0.024). All I know is I am unlikely to see that 7 figure profit here again and purely on risk/reward I have decided that HE1 has more upside for less risk. It really was a case of watching the losses get bigger or simply live on hope that it turns round with a sale announcement. How wrong I could be switching to HE1 but I do know that tens of thousands in losses in EUA has turned round to £100k profit for me by simply swapping EUA for HE1. I have never ramped and that is not my intention. It's so hard hitting that sell button. Anyway, if HE1 does come off, I might, just for the hell of it, buy some back (if it does go sub 1p) as I have put a lot of time into this stock and, honestly, I can't take the stress of it anymore; as in, not knowing whether the company actually will sell. Communication, whilst there may be a plausible reason for it with the Russia/Ukraine situation not seemngly or likely to end soon has added to my decision. Giving the BOD's the benfit of the doubt I can only assume they are "laying low" and don;t wish to draw too much attantion to themselves (probably a ridiculous thought but, nonetheless what I feel). Now all I need is a coup in Tanzania. Very sad to be leaving the EUA party but enough is enough. I only need 5p in HE1 to make all my losses in EUA back. We shall see and if I am right you can bet this would be a rare occurance for me. Good luck and all the best to those that hold on.
Thank you shipwreck sheep too. I'll try and study your answer but to save anyone trouble I thought there might have been a website or video (YouTube) explaining this. I just couldn't find anything. Thanks to all anyway. Appreciate your answers.
Thanks you mikey9997 for prompt response. It was mentioned in the Pro Active 5 min video (1.07 mins in) in a question to LB where the interviewer asked "Lorna you have encountered elevated helium shows 20 times the background etc. (bit unclear sound but something like that) then he goes on to ask " can you explain the significance of this?" She, of course answers by saying "of yes, this is hugely significant and more frequent etc. than Tai...etc etc" but same question: what does she mean by background in geological terms? I assumed this is "background" as in the geology down the drilled hole.
Whilst we have fun and games today I wonder if anyone can answer these two points as I can't fnd anything specific on Professor Geo-Google; first, reference to 1,000 x (or whatever) background? I think it's mentioned in relation to hydrogen and helium by LB. but - Background what? Second question: she refers to dilution which doesn't sound good or is this a good thing? Dilute what though? Just a link to somewhere appreciated if that's easier to answer. Thanks in advance.
Joe80 Post 1031:
One of thee best posts so far. Reasoned thinking and, I agree, espcially with reference to the DST. This is a case of more going on with the analysis and tests that just would not be warranted if it was a duster (which, incidentally we already now it is not). Interesting point about Noble too. May I conclude in saying; how nice to have a post actually worth reading (along with a few others) compared to the absolute drivel, (rampers and derampers alike) that have spout. Good post.
…on Slawson I came across, for interest, whilst on the subject …..

Highly recommend this in relation to much of what CH was talking about.
It's only 5-6 mins.
NtD - hope so but not so sure. CH did say specifically that this (36-2) was going to take all of June and maybe longer as they were not going to be rushed. My take is that this will be end of June earliest and into July. As I say, hope your gut feeling is correct and I am wrong.
