Yep Hall, Nige did the opposite of a **** sandwiche when he hid the good news in his RNS. Shrinking tumours and prolonging life - Crazy reaction to this by the market IMHO especially as MTA work not only continuing but also in advanced talks with a third potential partner!

At the very least this shows the commercial potential of using an adjuvant.

From todays RNS by GSK -“ GSK is collaborating with several organisations on COVID-19 vaccines by providing access to our adjuvant technology. We are working with Sanofi, Medicago and SK bioscience to develop adjuvanted, protein-based vaccine candidates. The use of an adjuvant can be of particular importance in a pandemic since it may reduce the amount of vaccine protein required per dose, allowing more vaccine doses to be produced and contributing to protecting more people in need.

GSK is also working with mRNA specialist CureVac N.V. to jointly develop next-generation, optimised mRNA vaccines for COVID-19 with the potential to address multiple emerging variants in one vaccine.”

The bit I focus on is “ The use of an adjuvant can be of particular importance in a pandemic since it may reduce the amount of vaccine protein required per dose, allowing more vaccine doses to be produced”. Let’s hope this adjuvant is NUVEC because if so the results of GSK are due in Q1 2022

Yes the door isn’t closed on the MTA’s as they are in advanced talks with a third vaccine manufacturer, but they are rightly focusing on oncology. As they are presumably out of a closed period it would be nice to see some director buys now to add confidence.

Cheers Hall, I’m up to 500,000 now. Probably a drop in the ocean to some on here but my biggest holding next to BEN, (which although I’m doing well on, doesn’t match the potential of N4P). GLA
