This seems severely undervalued. A one off 25 milion hit and its pummelled. Very little debt / strong EBITDA and profit and its valued extremely low. Bought a good tranche of these - should be £2+ on current metrics
Its valued at 1993 prices. You couldnt make it up... its the same as 1993 prices in nominal terms but taking into account inflation its probably half that. Something seriously wrong in the investing when a company with £11 billion of assets and debt fully hedged is valued at 2.75 billion...
I bought a few weeks ago. I still maintain this is oversold. I think the movement today in response to the RNS was plain stupid - its said no material impact on 2023 which means that the amounts they set aside will be very small. Cheap as chips for a company that has already upped its prices by 19% and more in many cases....
British land is fully debt hedged until 2024 and nearly fully hedged til 2027.... interest rates in the short term are not relevant
Looks like a complete no brainer share to me. It's lower than during the great recession of 2009 and lower than the lowest point of the pandemic, despite having a market portfolio of over three times its capitalisation. I have been accumulating hard in the last few days - cheap isn't the word. Anyone selling at these prices is completely stupid...
The thoughts of being out of this share and a bid comes through would fill me with dread! I'm staying fully in - £150k shares at £3.59... Sitting on a good profit - but we could be sitting on a whole lot more when bidders wake up and smell the coffee.
I've got £64k of these and will continue adding at 90p or below. Big risks - potentially big rewards - who knows? But happy to pick these up at this price. There's a not so small chance of a takeover at these prices.
Bough5t £60k of these. I bought fresnillo before covid for 5.65 and sold for 13.30.... took a while to recover buy bagged a signfcant profit. Not worried about having to wait - will add more to my portfolio...
