The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Good luck K invest I have been investing for 25 years and have had some really excellent investments and some terrible ones. As I get older I have to keep analysing which ones are likely to be winners and which losers and get out of losers quickly without losing lots of money. With Boohoo - I got out at £1.50 - had I stayed in until today I would have been down £120k. Those who dont question constantly usually end up worst. IMO.
KGInvest - its not panic driven. The fundamentals aren't as sound as I first thought. Tough times ahead. Below 50 pence highly likely. This is another AA - I managed to convince myself with AA that it was a great bargain all the way down to mid 20 pence range. DEBT DEBT DEBT is the issue.
Would be surprised if this is not taken over as now almost less than 50% of NAV.
Kginvest - you are entitled to express a belittling opinion. I change my positons based on circumstances. One of the largest investors selling at a massive loss is a cause for real concern. I made the right decision. You do what you want. If you are unhappy with your investment (as your derogatory comments show) do what you think is right. I had £200k of Boohoo shares - at £1.80.... they went to £1.50.... I pressed the sold button and they went all the way down to 30p... it happens... sorry, but Mobico could go the same way and lower with all of the debt..
When I saw M&G dumping that should send a very strong message that the outlook for this company is really poor. Them dumping at all time lows as it was then - tells me tougher times ahead for mobico.
That offloading by m&g would concern me greatly - I only bought in earlier this week and I'm down £2k but I'll dump the lot well before I make a substantial loss.... half of me is thinking whether this is an AA - I bought shed loads of shares in AA and held all the way down to 29 pence and kwpt thinking from a £1 down to 29 pence they were a bargain. I'm going to monitor these carefully tomorrow.
